Pale pee sticks

So I know I shouldn't care about this--and I guess I don't--but is there a scientific reason why I would stop getting any color at all on the keto pee sticks? I've been on this WOE since mid-Feb and have lost 10 lbs which was my goal, and have been really good about staying under 20 net carbs a day. But the last few weeks, I've gotten almost no color at all on them. I do drink a lot of water and found in the past that I could only get a read out if dehydrated, but haven't had positives on those days, either. Again, I care more about program success than the test, but I always see people saying things about being "knocked out of ketosis" so I guess I worry about that!

Those sticks are pretty much useless....Fun in the beginning to show you that you are moving in the right direction, but they are basically a measurement of ketones that are being flushed out of your body. If you are staying under 20 net carbs a day I'm pretty sure you are still in ketosis. You just aren't flushing as much out in your urine, because your body is using them for fuel which is the objective!

    Keep Calm and Keto On!

As your body becomes more adapted to ketosis, it will stop producing more ketones than it needs. Which means it won't be flushing excess ketones out. If your carbs are under control, this is a good sign.
