Todays walk was in daylight. Listening to an interesting book at present "Feeling Good" by David D. Burns. All about cognitive therapy and strategies to remediate depression. (I am not depressed, but like to research these things as mood is related to action).
Managed also to find the last issue with a poor performing quad and it is now flying great.
Lastly, was so far under calories today they the 100g lindt milk chocolate bunny that had been on my desk for the last month was finally enjoyed.
@RangerRickL. The hamster picture reminds me of the following cat photo.

LOL okay the photos made me laugh.
We are still fighting the elements here so internet has been spotty at best. Yes x 3 for the days I could not log on.
Work is still a sick zone. I am going to bed early to try and give my body the extra rest to fight the germs. There is only 3 of us who have not been touched by the flu out of 60 people. We 3 are back on the line and out of drive thru so hopefully we can stay well. I am drinking loads of water hopefully that helps. Till later.sue2 -

I wish you speedy recovery. Please take care of yourself.
@2020pinktogo my house was like that for sometime. Drinking plenty of water helps, lots of healthy food to help your immune system. Multivitamins, less stress.
@RangerRickL and @craigo3154 those pictures made my day. It looks like me on the treadmill.... Doing 5 miles to nowhere....2 -
Love those photos of hamsters and cats. I'm pretty sure that's what the internet was made for
A catch up on the last few days:
Apr 17 - Pass day - need to work on how to sleep as my husband is a bad sleeper due to ashtma and I am a light sleeper. Didn't get the exercise in. Might need to start sleeping in the spare room every now and again to look after myself.

Super early elections were announced here 3 days ago. As I work for a political party as a translator in addition to other stuff, this brings great change for my lifestyle for the next 2 months which means less sleep and extra flexible working hours. I'm already feeling the effects of it. My mealtimes aren't as regular as they used to be and I tend to eat at late hours as well as eating slightly unhealthier things. The upside is I'm more active during the day, doing a lot of walking or bike riding. Nonetheless I'm proud to announce that I'm still on the track!2 -
Yes X 3 with another 1 hour walk in village with DH. Meanwhile...outside my window...

Nice job conquering your "nemesis". Very inspiring as are your photos. So beautiful. Reminds me of the northwest. My husband is from northern Idaho in the panhandle. Always awed at the beauty when I visit the area.

Beautiful view! I don't think we'll be doing any trail hikes in this area until it dries out. The ground is pretty soggy out there right now.

Finally went to the cardio boot camp, (vs strength boot camp) even though it was a goal of mine for the month...took 19 days to get there! It was hard of course, but I'm pretty pleased that I was able to keep up. Sore today which feels great! I wish I had started it weeks ago... Now I know it's not as scary awful as I imagined.4 -
I got this weird new fitness ambition for this summer. There is this race called the Leadville 100 mtb. Now I can't do a 100 miler anymore. That ship has sailed for me. But on that course I know what the best parts are.
There is a seven mile stretch that goes from 9,000 to 12,000, more or less.
That is what I do. I climb. Sometimes I think I would rather ride up a hill than down it.
But a 3,000 foot climb, my usual practice is a 2,000 foot climb. So it is a bit stiffer of a climb.
So what? Oh, I almost forgot, rarefied air. My practice is a few thousand feet lower.
This planet's world class athletes can do that climb in a shade less that an hour. That pans out to seven miles per hour. I know I can't do that. Hey, I am a old guy.
But if I could do that climb in two hours, I give my self some kind of prize. Trying to think of what. I have a feeling I am going to get that prize no matter what.
Anyway, guys that knows about Strava, that climb is called Columbine Mine.
Watch for a crazy old guy pushing his bike up it. He will have a tent at the bottom of the hill either that or behind the laundromat.
That crazy old guy has finally clawed back to his pre-December climbing weight.
Anyway, I don't know why I think that kind of stuff is fun.
I guess I just like to be outside and am too hyper for fishing.
