What to eat with spreads and dips?

I’m making a sun dried tomato, olives, and artichoke hearts tapenade, and a beef liver pâté this weekend- What’s a good substitute for the hearty baguette I’d usually eat with them?

Any kind of crudités/raw veg sticks such as cucumber, peppers, celery, carrots, maybe little gem lettuce leaves so you have crunch plus dip. Would low carb vegetable crisps work? Or parmesan crisps, if you do dairy?1

I like cucumbers and celery (as eve70 already recommended). You can make your own crackers, I've found this one to be okay:

I also like paleo foccoccia. I have tried a couple recipes, and this is the one I like best:

Just make sure NOT to use psyllium husk in the form of orange Metamucil as a quick substitite:) Does not work.....and please don't make fun of me for trying....I was PMSing and wanted bread and was willing to do anything for it.1 -

I'm going to try Asparagus fries. https://blog.paleohacks.com/baked-asparagus-fries-recipe/?utm_source=paleohacks&utm_medium=paleohacksfb&utm_campaign=asparagusfries0

@Sabine_Stroehm they sound delicious! I've griddled asparagus when I've done burgers, which are nice, as they take on some of the griddle meat flavour. I bet you could do other veggies like that too...1

Yum. I’m going to try this.
I was thinking of crisping up a Fat Head pizza dough round on both sides with no topping and then breaking it up for crackers, too.0 -
I love using veggies. But if you want something more crunch like a cracker, I love the Epic Pork Rinds.0
