Put this in another group, but it probably fits better here!

Thinking of switching from my trusty Garmin 220 to a Fenix. Anyone have this particular watch? Thinking it would be better at tracking my swimming and cycling sessions too.

Not exactly but I did just get a Fenix 5s - had a 920xt - love, love, love Fenix.

No experience with the Fenix but I love my Garmin 735xt - the tri HRM strap is the first one I've had that's comfortable and stays put although I haven't tried it for pool swimming.

The 220 is a running-specific watch, right? While you can make it work for timing/distances (in certain situations), the fenix will definitely work better and will be better suited to multisport events/training.

Once you have the Fenix, the rest of multisport is easy, lol!

I had a forerunner 220 until something went wrong internally and it stopped charging. I switched to a Fenix 5X and love it.
