Before I got sick, I had accepted an invitation to experience horseback riding on a new $150,000 horse riding simulator by Racewood Simulators. The horse was built in the U.K. and shipped to a equestrian center focused on using horses to provide physical and developmental therapies to enrich and empower the lives of persons with disabilities.
I have ridden horses for 44 years and I learned some things yesterday that greatly enhanced my understanding of my interaction with horses. Time flew by while I was mounted on the horse and under the capable tutelage of Sharon Mason, the program director. I actually was riding the horse while in movement almost 90 minutes.
P.S. I was not dressed like the rider in the video.

Saw the post and wanted my daughter to upload me riding the pony ride at our 5 and dime store YES it costs a dime . It's load and clanky and you hear a guy yelling in the back ground being silly how he is going to catch me and you have my daughter laughing. She says it's for her friends only. LOL
Hoping to get the gardening all done today so time to get moving.3 -

I had issues earlier - kept popping up when I was trying to add my calories into MFP. It seems to be okay now though..x8 -

It's early...but I'm a yes X 3 today with another 1 hour walk in Highland Park today and enough calories left for my evening snack. The woodland trail, azaleas and rhododendrons were gorgeous! There were some late blooming varieties of lilacs that were still peak.

Time to get creative with exercise again. One of my mom’s aides put a knife in the dishwasher basket. I had no idea and reached in a cut my finger. Won’t be able to pick up a weight for at least a week.4 -

@jugar and @w8goal4life The equine therapy and activities program that I am involved with received a substantial grant to purchase that style of simulator. The initial results have been far beyond our hopes. We have been able to add services for 53 more persons with disabilities because we have the simulator in a climate controlled room. In addition, the sensors in the simulator provide us with high quality data so as to modify and improve the lesson for the individual rider. In addition, it a great way to determine when, which and whether an individual is ready to actually ride on a real horse.4 -
