Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes - thanks to the help of Daily Burn, but would have been within only 50 calories over if I didn't do Daily Burn

Daily Burn you'll find out is part of my daily regime. Right now I have my goal of 3x/wk set low. I fell off the diet/exercise wagon for the first part of this year. Now it's time to to turn things around.4 -

Exercise: a great weather day here near Chicago. 2 hours of horseback riding on the farm.
Calories: under my limit by 150 cals
Tracking: good

Day one in the bag! Hoping I can keep it up for the rest of the month and beyond.

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes - under by 33!
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes - even the stick of gum I had and the diet soda.
Extra proud of myself because 1) there were a few times I felt like I just didn't care, but I stuck to my guns and stayed on track. And 2) ended up going to KFC for dinner (bad) but chose something that was lower in calories than my usual, and only ate as much of it as my calorie budget would allow. Feeling good!

Weight at start of challenge is 74.2kgs
Goal is under 70kg by 7 July for Jiu Jitsu competition.
I always swear I will stay under once I make weight and then don't and end up having to do vicious cut at the end. I need to stay strong and get down to a maintenance weight below 68 kg so comp weigh in is easy!

Exercise: Yes, testing for my winter challenge at gym (results were: squat 55kg deadlift 85kg strict press 25kg) We test again after 4 weeks.
Under calories: Yes, and healthy choices within those as well. The plan changed during the day but I checked if the new plan worked before committing to it.
Log all calories: Yes
Day 2 is planned to a degree. Lots of Jiu Jitsu (fundamentals, open mat and leg lock seminar) then baby sitting my nieces and nephew. That means lunch is on the run while the boys do sparing and supper is with the kids. Giving myself a higher budget of calories but still looking to make the best choices within the circumstances.

I started this month off with a bang!
Exercised: Yes! 172 mins (120 of them at HR avg 135) my best workout ever. (Over 14.5 K steps- usually I avg in high 8K’s and lower HR avg.)
Calories: had so many because of the hilly, long hike. Under at least 400.
Tracking: Yes, everything!

Congrats to all that completed the May challenge!!! I fell hard! Gained 7 lbs it was the last week of school and I went out for drinks and various dinners and lunches...I’m back and recommitted for June! I have goals to hit!
