Commitment to Summer Shape Up

Hi, everyone!
Today is day 1 of our Summer Shape Up. I am taking off well. I have committed to logging my meals and exercise and also to taking stairs as opposed to the elevator. I hope to receive encouragement from the team along the way and to support y'all on your weight-loss/shape-up journey too. Here is to Day #1.

Hi Dorothy! That is awesome to hear. Stairs vs elevator is a great idea and easy to implement. I didn't do so great this morning... I stopped at dunkin donuts for a coffee and they were giving away free donuts! I should have said no... but I took it and instead of eating the entire thing, I only ate the icing off the top! LOL! It's a baby step in the right direction.0

Dorothy- taking the stairs instead of the elevator is a great goal! Keep it up!
One of my goals is to try to wake up earlier to take my dog for a walk before it gets too hot out. A small goal, but one that would be beneficial.
Taryn- good job only eating the icing from that donut! if it was me, I probably would have taken the icing off and ate the donut plain (not a big fan of the icing itself), or just ate half the donut...if I had enough willpower at the time! ha!0 -
Great Job Dorothy! I am just going to walk more than previously! The great weather is a plus! Walking back and forth between RC and Cottages 4 times today! Will increase each day! Thanks for keeping us motivated Taryn!0
