Had a pretty lazy day today but I *did* get on my stationary bike and rode for 20 minutes, which ended up being just under 6 miles. I may end up doing some gentle yoga before bed for another 20 or so minutes.
I made sure to track EVERYTHING, even things I wouldn’t normally track like the splash of maple syrup I put on my sweet potato or the bbq sauce I had with my (vegan) chicken tenders. The only things I didn’t log were the things that were obviously zero calories like seltzer water and Coke Zero (my weakness). Hopefully that’s not against the rules? I’m new here so I’m not sure how everyone does things around here. I don’t usually log things that have zero calories just because they don’t count against my total calorie count, but if I need to be logging them, I will from here on out. Let me know.
That being said, I did stay under my calorie budget for the day.
I hope everyone has had a good first day! I’m excited to get started on this challenge!2 -

It feels good to be back! In spite of the crazy heat I did my training circuit for 45 minutes, paddled around the pond a few times to cool off, had a 2 hour rehearsal with my fave pianist (I'm a flutist), and went back in the pond with her to cool off again. Calories and tracking all good. Too hot to ride the horses but they got hosed off - made them very happy.4

I'm back after quite a hiatus. Towards the end of April my dad had a mild stroke, and he's been rehabbing at my home for a little over a month now. He's making good improvement, but life has been very hectic as a result of it, and I've gotten so off track. I need this for motivation.

Last night my other pup was really sick. She was throwing up all through the night so I stayed up with her, watching to see if it got bad enough for an emergency vet visit. This left me feeling nauseous and tired so I slept most of the day. When I did wake, I ate and then pretty much dozed on and off. I felt too tired and out of it to exercise. So on July 1st, I am taking my first pass day......I am not worried about the rest of the month....5 -
