I was totally wiped out after a lot of travel and ALMOST skipped the gym. I sucked it up and about halfway through my workout, got this crazy second wind and ended up with a great 4 1/2 mile treadmill run!
All that on 20 net carbs a day for close to 6 months...so much for needing carbs for energy!!

I was having a ‘can’t be arsed’ kind of workout day yesterday as it was sooooo hot.. particularly when I got to the gym and the car park was manic (it’s in a complex with cinema, restaurants etc). ‘well I’ll drive around once and then if I can’t get a park I’m allowed to go home’... pulled into the car park... car immediately leaves in front of me... right outside the gym
So I went in and did a good weights workout - even talked myself into doing a HIIT workout after weights and it was the easiest one I’ve done without any decrease in effort/result - I may actually be becoming fitter!
Amazing what the body becomes capable of3
