Have family in town this week. There's been a lot of extra running around and playing and movement so that's been great. I've been pretty much eating my own separate food because they are all eating junk. They think I'm boring for that part but I'm okay with that!

Up at 5:00 a.m. and on a horse shortly thereafter. It's a lot cooler to ride early in the morning. The afternoon temperature was 33 degrees C. or 91 degrees F. Rode for an hour. When you are working with a horse, there is a lot of personal walking; lifting; carrying and other activity.
Calories: under my limit

A 2.5 mile dog walk this morning and as per @Babette1111, we watched the England game and my nerves were shot to pieces. To those of you who don’t know about or care about football/soccer, this is huge. England have never won a penalty shoot out in the World Cup and we go through to the next round.
We won the World Cup in 1966 and I was two years old, we do not ave a good history with winning or being successful in this competition. I’m not sure what to do with it right now, I’m just going to enjoy it....until Saturday......0 -

I hit my Goal Weight this morning after 2.5 years of slow habit changes!! I will likely gradually over time continue to lose a bit more, but I’m very excited & pleased.
July Goals:
1) make winner’s circle
2) continue to improve my sleep habits
3) shoot for at least an hour of exercise per day on average
4) do some form of self-care each day
5) eat all meals at home, pre-prep/measure/plan except for one special meal with DH this month!
Such a wonderful group! Thank you!2 -

Yesterday, there was an excellent question: Do you get to add your exercise calories to your daily calorie limit?
The UAC has no rule about that concept. Why? Because you get to decide. Some of us walk for exercise and others run marathons. If a marathoner kept a calorie limit that was too low, they would be unable to function. On the other hand, most days, my exercise is not as demanding. You can decide whether to 'eat back' some exercise calories or you can decide to not eat-back exercise calories.
By the end of this month, if you are not getting closer to your goal, you will recognize whether you need to make calorie limit changes.
Best wishes, Rick
Thank you, this does help! I have a 3x week gym routine which involves cardio, weights and toning. However I don't think it's as intense as warranting eating back the calories. That being said, so far I've only been withing 100 of my goal and also its really my first time being excruciatingly strict on my tracking (bites and tastes!)
Anyway my check-in today:
Exercise: yep, worked from home but walked to the shops at lunch and later in the day. Maybe an hour overall. Gym tomorrow!
Calories: A tiny over but within exercise budget. I caved and had wine in the garden, but absolutely miraculously I didn't snack! That's honestly a huge deal for me.
Tracking: Yes! In the past I have ignored a splash of milk or sprays of fry light in the pan but not now!
I usually allow myself to eat back 1/2 the calories!0 -

@MadisonMolly2017 congrats on hitting your weight goal!
@craigo, good idea to post goals, I'll join the rest of you.
1. Strive to make winner's circle, but if I don't, stick with UAC anyway.
2. Heavy lifting 2x a week
3. Tango 2x a week
4. Completely let go of my work when the day ends, don't think about, don't stress about it
5. Spend less time with negative people, more with positive friends
Yes x 3 for me today, tango and bike ride for exercise.1
