    Yes x3
Exercised: 2 hours 37 minutes hike, 922 foot elevation. 3.7 miles. 13,504 steps!
    Calories: 2675-2251=under by 424!
    Tracking: yes, all.

I hit my Goal Weight this morning after 2.5 years of slow habit changes!! I will likely gradually over time continue to lose a bit more, but I’m very excited & pleased.

    July Goals:
    1) make winner’s circle
    2) continue to improve my sleep habits
    3) shoot for at least an hour of exercise per day on average
    4) do some form of self-care each day
    5) eat all meals at home, pre-prep/measure/plan except for one special meal with DH this month!

Such a wonderful group! Thank you!

Yesterday, there was an excellent question: Do you get to add your exercise calories to your daily calorie limit?
The UAC has no rule about that concept. Why? Because you get to decide. Some of us walk for exercise and others run marathons. If a marathoner kept a calorie limit that was too low, they would be unable to function. On the other hand, most days, my exercise is not as demanding. You can decide whether to 'eat back' some exercise calories or you can decide to not eat-back exercise calories.
By the end of this month, if you are not getting closer to your goal, you will recognize whether you need to make calorie limit changes.
    Best wishes, Rick

Thank you, this does help! I have a 3x week gym routine which involves cardio, weights and toning. However I don't think it's as intense as warranting eating back the calories. That being said, so far I've only been withing 100 of my goal and also its really my first time being excruciatingly strict on my tracking (bites and tastes!)

    Anyway my check-in today:

Exercise: yep, worked from home but walked to the shops at lunch and later in the day. Maybe an hour overall. Gym tomorrow!
Calories: A tiny over but within exercise budget. I caved and had wine in the garden, but absolutely miraculously I didn't snack! That's honestly a huge deal for me.
Tracking: Yes! In the past I have ignored a splash of milk or sprays of fry light in the pan but not now!

I usually allow myself to eat back 1/2 the calories!

@MadisonMolly2017 congrats on hitting your weight goal!

@craigo, good idea to post goals, I'll join the rest of you.

    1. Strive to make winner's circle, but if I don't, stick with UAC anyway.
    2. Heavy lifting 2x a week
    3. Tango 2x a week
    4. Completely let go of my work when the day ends, don't think about, don't stress about it
    5. Spend less time with negative people, more with positive friends

Yes x 3 for me today, tango and bike ride for exercise.

    Calorie Goal: 40% Deficit - 1247 Calories
Exercise Minutes: Approx 70 (8.43 Miles Under Desk Elliptical - somehow almost exactly the same as day prior but in a faster time)
    Foods Tracked: Yes, but guesstimated

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? YES
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? YES
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? YES

I had to eyeball portions as I did only one meal at a Brazilian steakhouse. I chose low carb options and didn't walk out feeling like I was gonna puke so I'm calling it a win. Especially since I woke up with a loss the next day.

Tracking... where am I? Back posting.
Tracking not that great. A little bit off to a bad start.
Exercise though... I have upped my game.
I picked up a raft of new PRs. Personal records.
A lot of that has to do with me being out cranking in new territory.
I have a tracker watch but I don't really count steps.
I only count climbing. I give myself maybe 10 to 13 calories per minute depending on heart rate. Rick talks about eating back exercise calories. I eat them. But I make sure I have a realistic approximation of them.
I hesitate to say this. I should preface with "as for me."
I only count as exercise that activity which raises my heart rate.
I ought to put a picture of something.
Like a teenage boy I'll put a picture of my car.
Actually that is my camping and biking rig.
So that is as close as I get to a Winnebago.
But hey, it has a bike on the roof.
