Making good progress getting the water retention off, but still a few more to go. I have been successfully avoiding gluten (and processed foods) this week, and it's helping. I'm not as puffy around the ribs, but the leg/foot are still quite swollen and the leg yells, loudly, when I'm on it too much. Some day I'll be healed, but not today.
Monday 7/2 I posted three goals:
- Back to my food routine starting today. I'm going to be very strict about gluten because after a week of compromises I'm not feeling very well. - ACHIEVED
- Daily exercise. No excuses. I am capable of upper body and ab workouts, broken leg or not.
- Daily walks. I did it while gone, I can certainly do it at home. - ACHIEVED
On the one hand, achieving two of the three isn't bad, but yet I really need to resume workouts. Next week I plan to report that I've achieved that one as well.3 -
I am the worst. Feeling down about backsliding like crazy! I want to be fit and look lean, but like everyone else I don't seem to want it badly enough to exercise consistently and stop shoving trash food into my mouth... Starting again, so the cycle continues.

My husband left this morning for the rest of the summer. He'll be at camp with the cadets until the end of August. So far my kids are doing okay with it. I woke up to a nice surprise on the scale and promptly ate two donuts with my coffee I was getting used to not seeing anything besides a little whoosh every 2-3 weeks. The upside to being alone is that I don't eat out of the house nearly as much and make dinner every night, so that should help a lot.

TOM water weight is finally gone, whoo! I had to get on the scale a few times this morning to double check the weight, but this was consistent each time. I really need to remember to take my measurements so I can see how I stand at the end of the month. Restarted Strong Curves this week after nearly a month off due to various reasons, so we'll see how this month goes!4 -

My motivation has been at an all time low lately, I need a good kick in the butt. Time to get back to basics. Although I enjoy sleeping in until 6am, I need to get back to my 5am routine as I am not consistently exercising daily when I get up later.4 -

I’m more concerned about how I look and feel than the number, but I would guess I have about 10 pounds left to go. It is coming off super, duper slow now! I seem to be losing about 0.5 lbs every couple weeks, which is agonizingly slow when I’m approaching my gw!

I’m on track for my goal to maintain weight. Have been eating well for the most part, and the scale seems to reflect that.
I haven’t been doing so good on the goal of building muscle, but I think I’m okay with that. It’s summer, which lends itself to beach, bike rides, long walks, etc — but I haven’t really been hitting the weights. I think I’m okay with this, and it’s something I might revisit later in the season or this fall.6 -

I tried to eat reasonably on the cruise, but I still ate a lot. Not having access to MFP made it hard at the buffet. I was eating food that I don’t normally eat, and therefore had no idea what to estimate for calories. We went on a good walking tour yesterday, and went back to the same places again today. Even though it was delicious, my stomach feels gross now. I am looking forward to getting back on track tomorrow!3 -

I was 140 and a size 8 at my fittest, and I don’t think I’m built for being slimmer than that, but I was so happy with how I looked and felt back then. A knee surgery, 3 years of college, and a year of grad school later and I just want to feel good again!!3 -

Wow this is the lowest I've ever weighed in my adult life and is certainly the strongest I've ever been as well. I changed up a little how I've been eating last week and prioritized getting at least my 10k steps a day. I'll try and continue this trend throughout this week (I didn't actually drop 2lbs over the course of a week. My June 2nd weigh in was trending high, last week's weigh-ins were around 157). Hope everyone is doing well in their endeavors!!

I'm back on logging my food because I pretty much eat whatever I want whenever I want, within reason so that my body fat doesn't start creeping up, except that Asda deli pizza that one time and I fluctuate between 136-138lbs, but my average weight (136lbs) keeps creeping lower and lower. It's kind of weird because I spent so much of last week so painfully bloated because of the heat that I feel like I should be heavier than I am.2 -

I am on my 4th week of Crossfit. Suddenly weight isn't seeming as important. LOL. I am losing a little bit of weight, but mainly inches and I'm toning up. Muscles weighs more than fat...Gotta keep that mindset!4 -
Today's weigh in was probably the lowest I've seen yet, but I started tracking my weight with Libra this past week because I think a trending weight makes more sense now that I'm in maintenance. I skipped out on a work lunch today (mostly because I just didn't want to go) which saves some calories and I even said no to a donut in the break room yesterday- and those don't come too often! I have another beach trip in a few weeks and it's really nice to just keep up what I'm doing rather than feeling like I need to work a little harder to look good in my bikini.

Hey ladies,
I have no numbers for you. I haven't been weighing in lately, so I don't know what I'm at. Things have been so hectic lately that I'm really not giving this enough attention. I'm going to keep logging as best I can but I don't think I'll be able to take things too serious until August (hopefully by then anyway). I'm just feeling really stuck and stressed lately and seem to have no energy to give this.
I'm going to try to just focus on eating fresh foods whenever possible and leave it at that for now. Sometime, life just gets the best of you.5 -

Had a stomach bug the week before the first, 7/1 was actually going up from the ultimate stomach bug low, 7/8 was coming back down, I think I peaked around 134.7 between those two.
The last week in June was stomach bug, the week before that my husband got laid off (we are a single income family) so food purchases have changed a bit with the uncertainty and stress. I was doing really well but between the stress of the job loss and the stomach bug, I got off track. I'm trying to get back on. I also had to freeze my gym membership, so after the 23rd I will be working out at home. I don't know if that will help or hurt my progress, or if it won't change.
I had good progress from April to May, May to June, and during June. I don't feel like I'm on track to do as well in July. Or maybe my loss has slowed as I approach my ultimate goal.3 -

Surpassed my second goal weight! Feels good to be in the home stretch and really see things coming together. Started Strong by Bret this week and got all my workouts in. I think I'm really going to enjoy it as my next program.

Well, my weight has been creeping up this spring and while I tried it on my own for a while, I am coming back to the group humbly. I have realized that I can’t do this on my own and MFP’s data and accountability are something that I require if I don’t want to do a grand slide back to where I was. So I am back. I am still dealing with injury and recovery but have decided to let go and put myself in the hands of the program that I know works for me: you guys. So here is to renewed focus on my health and yours.

When I hit my goal, I wasn’t sure if I should go another five pounds down, but it looks like that’s happened without really trying to. I’m now pretty comfortable saying 130-135 is a good maintenance range for me.
I haven’t really succeeded at the build muscle part of my goal, but I have been enjoying the extra activity that comes with summer.5 -

Haven't been doing a great job of tracking or working out However, I do feel like there has been a change in my habits (way less binging/snacking). Glad to be under 145 and feel like the 130's are finally in sight.5
