    Much better day today, thank you yesterday's three huggers (not 'treehuggers!).
    Exercise: Yes, took my bike out to the river again, before it got hot, 30 minutes. Walked as briskly as possible in the evening heat to the cinema and back, 20 minutes. Two birds with one stone! Enjoyed the film too!
    Calories: Yes, stayed well under
    Logged it all.

    Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? YES, a nice walk today to sit outside a park cafe and watch the world go by, reminiscing about yesterday’s Colour Run. :)
    Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? YES, felt in a nibbly mood but got a drink with ice and chewed on that a while!!!

    I’m with lots of family this week. It’s a challenge to be away from home and trying to eat alongside adult children and grandchildren. Since it’s a vacation, I’m able to do extra walking and swimming.
    Today:
    Tracking: okay
    Calories: under my limit
    Exercise: 45 minutes walking in hills and 90 minutes of swimming

    Exercise: yes. More running (25 min) along side my 5 year old as he learns to ride his bike 🚴‍♂️. What a joyful kind of exercise!

    Exercised - yes! 53 minutes and 2.52 total miles walking around Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon

    Calories - under (I’m allowed a range of 1500-1800 for the research study I’m in)

    Tracked - 💯

    Despite traveling in the car for 8+ hours I still managed to get in 11,198 steps and only ate one meal out. Split a salad and Neapolitan pizza with my daughter for dinner. Everything else I ate were healthy pre-measured snacks. Total win for me!

    Exercise: Walked to the bus stop in town and back, did a bunch of walking around too so 10.5k steps in all
    Calories: I am super disappointed in myself. Was on track for a great day then my friends invite me for drinks and Vietnamese food. That would have been fine except I come home and my boyfriend had Chinese food which I had a lot of. I wasn't even hungry. I'm doing really well when controlling what I eat but as soon as other people are involved my resolve just vanishes! I asked him not to offer in future lol. I do like a takeaway but there's an appropriate time and place.

    A special lunch was higher in calories than I thought, so I did LOTS of extra walking. Then had a teensy, carefully counted bedtime snack to remain just under.

    I posted last night but the DONE button got me!!!

    Ate OK, within my ideal calorie range and everything tracked.

    Light exercise because I donated blood, but the exercise was a walk on the beach before sundowners to celebrate my friend's dad who passed away from cancer on Wednesday. A good time with great people. I went to the funeral this morning to support her and ended up in the second row, as family (totally unexpected, but she is family in my mind anyway.) It was a great celebration of his life with lots of laughing at funny stories and the family singing along to some of his favourite songs. So much of what people said about him is exactly what I see in her, definitely Daddy's girl! She is coping so well, sad but relieved that he isn't suffering anymore.

    Went to Summer League Basketball at UNLV to see the Grizzlies. They were pitiful but it was a good night and we got to see Mike Conley, one of my favourite players. Back to footie and the World Cup.......
