July Challenge

Hi all!

The July sheet is up and ready for sign up. Also... happy Canada Day (and the upcoming 4th of July)!
What are your goals for this month?

I'm going back to work on July 12. Keith starts transitioning to daycare on July 2 and I'm feeling a little heartbroken. I have to wean him off his morning feed even though it's one of the most fun ones. Once I am back at work I should be approximately in the 2nd trimester (though I prefer to wait till week 14 to say that I am in the 2nd trimester rather than week 12 since there is some debate as to when it changes over). I plan to start logging more food diary stuff once my second trimester starts.. because it's easy to do at work hahah. And that's also when most of the weight gain will start.

I also hope to exercise once in a while but I don't want to give up time with Keith to do that... so ... It won't be happening at lunch at work since it makes lunch too long and delays me leaving. And no way will it happen at 4:00 am (I'll be getting up at 5:00 am starting July 12). So I probably won't hold myself to the exercise goal too much to be honest.

Meal planning is going to be a must for me. Dinners, lunches, and breakfasts since time will be short and rushed if I don't plan properly. It's not my forte and it's stressing me out a bit already. But I think I'll make a 2 or 3 week rotation of meals and stick to those.

Anyone else have goals?

    Sounds good, @VeryKatie.
My goal is to not gain too much weight in the next few weeks. The midwife keeps fussing at me for weight gain and going over my goals. Although, the scale at her office in the evening shows a much higher number than mine at home in the morning. I still should try. I kinda gave up on exercise though for now. Instead, focusing on getting in as many servings of veggies and protein as possible, and lots of hydration. Good luck everyone!

I think I'll do something different than I have in the past and will do daily goals instead.

    Goals for today:
    1. End the day in a deficit
    2. Walk 30 minutes
    3. Drink 8 glasses water

Just joined the spreadsheet! Got my visit from AF this morning, which is OK as I didn't really expect to get pregnant during the first month. But I feel bloated and meh and pretty PMS-y so didn't get a great workout in this morning.

My goals for the week are to exercise at least 4x and to up my water intake at work. I've been at a weight plateau for weeks so I'm hoping that once my TOM is over I'll finally see a drop on the scale.

Changing my goals for July to mild weight loss and eating well for recovery. So far I've gone from 200 to 180 lbs in lost baby weight. Yar!

My goals for the month are to maintain my weight at 140ish and to try to get some form of exercise each day (dog walks count!). Also to stay pregnant...
