    Calories: Yes, stayed under, just nibbled a few of my exercice calories

    Our 8 year old granddaughter, Phoebe, was on the boat that was towing her grandparents ( me & Rose). Afterwards, she said to me,”Grandma was smiling but you looked concerned.” I do look concerned but I had a good time. Another granddaughter, Daphne, laughingly states, “You are not typical grandparents!
    To that comment, I say,”Amen?” Both Rose (71 years) and I (almost 68 years) consistently and persistently push ourselves by working out with trainers and staying active so that we can enjoy the things we love to do as long as possible. Life has its inevitable trajectory, but we can work to push back decrepitude until near the end

    “You are not typical grandparents!” This is my desire. It is nice to know that when you work for it, the grand children will notice.

    One of those lovely days when I went nowhere. Our land is a wonderful place not to leave! Lots of garden and outdoor work, practicing, and general walking around.

    This is harder than I thought, but I am still doing it!
    Exercise 20 minute: yes (wak 5.4 miles)
    Track everything I ate and drank: yes
    Stay within calories: no

    Exercised ✅ - parked in garage that was about a 7 minute walk from my building to get extra steps in today. Longer walk was for 30 minutes (1.29 miles) walking the pug. 8,625 steps so far today

    Calories ✅ - got home last night and even though I ate out for lunch and dinner (Wendy’s is my go to for fast food) I’m well u der for the day 1010/1490 (makes up for yesterday!)

    Tracked ✅ - 💯

    Glad to be back home after 4 days traveling. I missed the meal time structure!

    For those of you who travel frequently for work and/or pleasure and still meet your fitness and nutrition goals, I commend you!

    Yes to all 3. Went canoeing tonight that was so much fun. Got sore shoulders but really enjoyed myself. Definitely feel stronger than before

    Exercised and tracked but over on calories. However, I noticed because I am really holding myself accountable for tracking this month my " over on kcal" is not as monumental as my mind makes it. Today is a new day, baby steps will eventually get you the same place.

    yes x 3, I was sure I'd gone over because I ate falafel,but i actually just made it under on calories. There was music in the park, and the whole community was out dancing, so that was my exercise.

    I may have a new walking partner. She came over and we walked for quite a while about 30 to 40 minutes. The pace was fairly slow. I said when we walk again that we could pick up the pace and she seemed happy with that. So hoping I have a new walking partner!!
