Thank you, Clara! It was so much fun! So much laughter!!

140.2 this morning at 6:00. I did really good yesterday. Plan the same thing today.

DDD has her 2nd interview for the Vice Principal position this morning. Going over now to play w/R&B while she gets ready then we will come home to play. So far, no walking or workout today. We'll see. It's going to be really, really hot today.

164.0 again today. Floating along at my lowest in the last year. But my body shape may be reforming. Could wear a belt today. No muffin top. :)

    ((DDD fingers crossed))

176.4 this morning. I was so scared I was over 180. I can breathe again and get to working on getting out of the 170s.

Congrats Paula, you’re killing it! Chris good luck to your daughter.

Thank you, Kathy! You and Paula are doing great! Keep it up, my friends!

139.8 this morning at 5:00!! WOW! I couldn't find the '3' on the keyboard...my finger went straight to the '4'...bwhahahah! Headed for 135.0! Down we go!!!

DDD should know by 9:00 or 10:00 this morning. There are three people up for the VP job. DDD is the only inside candidate; the other two are from different districts. I'm hoping that is her edge and the fact that her current principal is one of the decision-makers and she loves DDD. I'll keep you posted.

Walking this morning then workout w/trainer then flowers for Nick's niche. Summer is so hard on the flowers.

Chris I could see the balls flinging through the air in my minds eye. Awesome fun my friend! Hope DDD had a good interview. She has been working hard towards her goal! :)

Kathy no butt kicks for you. Just congratulations and keep moving down.

Paula congratulations on ridding your body of the muffin top! What a wonderful feeling.

My mom is coming tomorrow. So excited. I must put the finishing touches on her room tonight. Then do some water changes. My starfish have been in quarantine for way to long. Moving them into their new home. Fingers crossed. Moving is stressful. Weight is still under 150. I think it was 148 this morning. Very happy.

175.2 this morning. :) Yes I’m feeling better now that I’ve had 2 losses in a row.

Shelley - enjoy your time with your Mom!

Chris - congrats on the 130s.

Paula - I’m so proud of you!

So...DDD has her second interview...it goes really well...she is told she would hear the decision within 24 hours...bwahahahah! Now it could mean they offered it to another candidate and are waiting for an answer, but at least communicate with the other two...or it could mean they are arguing over who they want...so many guesses...this is why I am not sad to leave the politics of a school district far behind me. As of 6:00 this morning, she hasn't heard a word. :s dumb school.

Good job, Shelley. Have fun w/your mom! And your starfish will be very happy in his new home.

    138.8 this morning...maybe. dancin'...dancin'...dancin'!

Doc's appt this afternoon. This arthritis pain is really killing me. She is worried about one of the meds I'm taking...that isn't working any more...because you can become dependent on it. So change it up, doc. Boy, I get cranky, too!!

Walking this morning w/DH. Pretty warm already. Looking at a hot, hot day here in Northern California.

Hoo, Chris, you go girl with the weight thing - sorry about the pain.

I walked (20 min) to the union meeting at lunch and would've walked back but a coworker offered me a ride in his bright orange jeep - couldn't pass it up - have always loved jeeps -nice car.

Still at 164, not losing weight but my body is reconfiguring. I'm down to a snug size 8 from size 10. And my crazy thunder thigh hips are shrinking (curse you grandma!) - Hallelujah!

    195.0 this morning.

Paula a snug size 8 is great. I’m between a 12 and 14 right now. I need to tone more than anything along with losing another 25-30 pounds. I think 145-150 would be great for me. I think I just realized I finally have a goal weight. I’ve never been sur in the past.

Chris - I hope your appointment went well. And you’re allowed to be cranky. Constant pain gives you a pass.

Have a good weekend everyone. Going to a concert Saturday night with my BFF. Maybe I’ll dance off a pound or two. :D

138.6 this morning at 5:00...YEA!!! Thanks, Kathy and Paula! You guys are doing great, too! Good job, ladies!!

Well. Doc looked at my MRI and called me Tuesday...I was in my car...driving down the road...at 50 miles an hour...the whole interior is ringing...I hung up on the call that came up on my car's screen...the ringing scared me...I didn't know the number until later, but it's the "general" line for Kaiser...I didn't know it was the Doc. until yesterday. Now she knows the pain is real and that I've been dealing with it for years with ibuprofen. She actually gave me another pill to take. We'll see if it helps. I go see the spine specialist on the 19th. I will most likely end up with the spine surgeon. I don't have any more part they can take out so they'll have to add something!! I'll probably set off all the airport metal detectors.

I took DH into the room with me so he could help me explain to the doc. He was so great! He had his lower back fixed about five years ago so he knew all the words. He was the buyer when we worked for Drug Service in Santa Clara so he knows the different drugs she was talking about. ...I'll keep him!!

Walking in a few mins then workout w/DDD and our trainer.

    Love you guys!

    Happy Friday the 13th, all!

163.5 - yay - stall is broken in the right direction.

    Kathy, you're doing amazing.

Chris, I hope they can give you a permanent fix.

138.2 this morning at 5:00. The scale is going in the right direction...smart scale. Maybe it was the threat of me dropping a huge rock on it's face...hmmm, I wonder. :D

Paula, yeah, me too. Getting out of bed and getting dressed, brushing my teeth, washing my face is the worst 30 mins of the day. Can't bend over...hurts to sit, walk...everything. Go figure.

Walking w/DH this morning...then, well...nothing on the calendar...maybe, I'll read all day or go shopping for something I don't need. I can go plant some primrose seeds and play in the dirt. Yeah, that's what I'll do!

    Hi everyone!
Chris, I agree they should give an answer when they say they will. For my county positions, I’m honest and say it will take a while. Because we have to get approval from County Budget dept, etc. etc.
    Paula, size 8 is great!

Just had morning coffee and the caffeine is doing it's warm fuzzy thing making me feel all happy, at peace, and loving. And my brain says "Talk to your girls! Tell them how fond your are and how much you appreciate them." So per my warm fuzzy brain's instructions:
    "Love you girlfriends!"

163 this morning. Next goal to break is 161.5 (lowest weight within the last year)

Paula, I love the warm fuzzy thing coffee does first thing in the morning!! Love you back, girlfriend!!

Okay, shhh...don't say anything...the last time I was at this weight (138.2) DH didn't like it. He said I looked gaunt. I don't think so. I'm heading to 135.0. Let's see if I can get there and get rid of my puchy belly. I need to see my belly button...I'm almost there!! (I was 137.8 after our walk...Crazy!!).

Oh, I lost another 1/4 inch in height...I'm now 5' 5 1/2". I used to be taller!!! And I'll never get it back.

Chris, My husband and I have had the same discussion, with the same results  the pouchy must go!

Funny thing is that he never said anything about me being gaunt when I was 128.0! He has lost a ton of weight because he has to watch his sodium so closely. There is salt in everything. It seem so easy for him. I'm sure it wasn't and I'm sure it wasn't as fast as I think it was.

Well, tomorrow is a rest day for us. Going to get my car washed w/DDD. She's taking her car...it's a "Car Wash Date"! Then I'm having lunch w/my journalism instructor (Cindy), a journalism friend (Char) and a "not" friend. It's so hard for Cindy Char and I to get together, when I found out someone else was gonna be there...well...I'm a bit unhappy about it. I'll behave myself but...shoot. Then the kids and R&B are coming over for dinner. <3 That will make my day!

    Back tomorrow.

Have a fun time feeling superior over your not friend and sharing affection with your yes friends, Chris.

162.0 this morning for me. I think my metabolism needed a good sweat to fire up the burners.

That's so great, Paula! Good goings!!

I loved seeing everybody today. The not friend hasn't changed, but I had a really good time. If we get together again, she will probably be there because she's going to be working with Char on Char's new magazine. **sigh**

The kids came over for soup and salad this afternoon. Ronan was a blast.

At our monthly potluck tonight, there were lots of delicious options - sometimes there's nothing I can eat, but tonight had deviled eggs, tunafish salad (skipped the crackers) a couple of delish cabbagy salads and a zucchini casserole (one of our new members is a professional chef, omg). :)

Chris did the not friend even recognize the skinny you? I am sure she was green with envy. Congratulations on the losses. Crossing my fingers for your DD.

Paula you are so strong skipping all the not on your diet junk. High five girl friend! Wish I drank coffee. Would love some of that fuzzy feeling.

136.6 today so not a loss but not a big gain either. I’ll take it as I really got off track this week. DD didn’t want to cook a couple of nights and we wound up going out. Plan is to have soup if he doesn’t feel like cooking.

140.0 this morning at 5:00. The new pills stop the potty process...must take helper pills...wondering when they start working...

You did great, Paula! OMG!!! Wish I had a professional chef around the house... :#

Shelley, she just looked me up and down...didn't say anything. Our instructor had a couple of cool stories about stories I wrote while I was editor of the paper. The not friend didn't have anything like that when she was editor...she kept trying to make all the stories about her somehow. blaaaa

Clara, I went off track a little last night. The kids were over...pound cake and ice cream...but not like last time where we all felt so sick because we were big piggies! I made my bean/chicken soup for the weeks lunches. That keeps me on track.

Must get out there and walk. R&B coming over at 8:00 this morning.

    Back later.

    Chris

162 this morning, expected worse (early weigh-in with wet hair) so okay. Feeling stodgy because my small clothes are tight. If only all our problems were so insignificant. :)

Chris karma will slap her canny some day! I was reading some of our conversations from 5 years ago. We were pretty tough then. It was fun reading.

    Paula so true!

We had a down pour. Thunder was awesome. We were just finishing dinner on the patio. Rain and wind. Soaked everything. Found Cooper in the bathtub. It was rather exciting. Snuggled Cooper in my arms and watched it. Really dropped the temperature. Wow I seen the story about the young woman who survived her vehicle crash in California Amazing.
