This is a bit off topic, but can we talk about perimenopausal hair texture?

I'm 44 and experiencing cycle irregularities that I believe are perimenopause. In the past five years my hair has turned to straw. I don't know what to do with it. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks

Mine is very dry naturally and has just gotten more dry as I get older...I condition my hair every day, but only shampoo it about once a week, and even then, I put conditioner on first, add a bit of water, and then add the shampoo, rinse and condition as usual...that seems to help...switching to a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner may help.

I do a coconut oil massage very couple of weeks. Leaving it in over night. Soft hair lasts quite a while. And the massage while relaxing is nice. I put in some essential oils occasionally also. Enjoy

Is it grey hair? Different color hair has different textures.

My hair was feeling coarse, dry and just bleh...I've been adding jojoba oil when I condition my hair in the morning. I rinse it out w the conditioner, it's made a difference for me.
