Saturday night, went to a Japanese restaurant with family and friends for Granddaughter's 12th birthday. It was fairly easy to eat there with the exception of the rice. I asked for extra veggies and no rice. Not happening, they wanted an extra 5.00 to do that and the meal was already 23. Okay maybe I'm a cheapo but...I;m old and came up in a time when being frugal was important. So went to plan B, Had shrimp and scallops, veggies, salad and soup and Rich had rice on Sunday with some fish I had made. All in all not so bad and the scale i still moving downward.

That's good! Our favorite chinese restaurant lets me get my dinner on a bed of broccoli at no charge. My favorite sushi restaurant I just get sashimi.
And at my favorite poke place I get a salad base. YUM.

Thanks. My granddaughter had her 12th birthday and she loves to go there, she has some autistic tendencies, she was in the hospital for the first 18 months of her life with cytomeglia virus, not expected to live and would have severe brain damage etc etc. She is deaf but has implants, she was on feeding tube for 7 or 8 years, no off and is mainlined into regular classes, they do provide her with an interpreter because sign language is her first language. Frankly I would have gone to a hot dog stand if that is what she had wanted to do. We are sooooooo very blessed.
