    @Nevadaden I wish you would stay around. I get the discouragement but it will make your success feel that much better when you work through it. And you know you'll come back.

    So I didn't binge but did go over my calorie count. I believe this site is for those of us that fight BED so going over my calorie count of 1350 by 200 calories I can not define as a BINGE anymore. But those 3 I have here those qualify.

    I don't know how many folks actually use this community and I hope my screws up are not screwing with them and their BED. But that would be giving too much strength to my ego which seems a part of my BED. I'm going to continue to use this site to work through this.

    @lamlam2013 I like your attitude. Think I'm learning that as well, the stress of perfection might not be that healthy to our bodies, mind and heart as well. But let's try and finish this month maybe not perfect but BINGE free. Hey that Ultimate Challenge group you suggested is just what I needed for my diet goals and this BINGE challenge fits my BED.

    Hey, all, sorry I've been really inactive lately. I'm pretty deep in a funk, and I'm not sure what's up.

    Lately all my eating issues have been with compulsive eating - rather than binge eating. Where I can't NOT EAT something... It's really messing with me.

    I've completely given up on weight loss, too many other things going on. Before the end of the year, I have to go see a cardiologist, a gastroenterologist, a sleep specialist, and who knows what else. UGH... I thought I was doing well recently, but I guess not. Appt tomorrow... Trying to remember not to eat all the bad things tonight.

    @KnitOrMiss Sorry too, you always try to help us with some great words of encouragement at our low points. The ones I most remember is to not beat ourselves up for failures. I wish that I could pen of them now back to you but God didn't give me that great ability of yours. But there is prayer and I pray for your getting through your funk and back to your optimistic supporting self in our community.

    I feel both better and worse since my appointment yesterday. I'll update again once I know something, but long and short - abnormal EKG came back with annual check, no reason why, and seemingly messed up referral on that, a few other referrals, and doc harping on me about cholesterol meds, which notably are not effective for women my age...

    But, while I'm discouraged somewhat, I'm also glad that I got the referrals to get on the path to more answers, hopefully. At least if I can figure out the gastro-drama, I can get back to a healthier eating...and dial back my food issues. I've been doing a bit better...but still stressed out...just so much mess.


    I hope everyone else has a lighter, more hopeful day today, too! (HUGS)
