    The Chicago street art theme of the week continues: This photo is of The Flamingo by Alexander Calder. It’s a 53 foot tall steel structure in red. It offsets the black of the federal court house designed by Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe.

    Travelled into a client meeting near town. 1.5km from train station. Walked.

    I'll call this a pass day I think

    Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? YES - Well a 15 minute walk X 2 - but I was a bit slack on the exercise today
    Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? YES - I think so, but was eating/drinking out so hard to really be sure
    Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? YES - kinda, but a lot more guesstimation that usual.

    For a pass day, I did the best I could and certainly didn't over-induldge on food, just on the beers! It was a celebration though, so very happy with my choices.

    @eminater meantioned Barcelona. I have no evidence and I cannot cite any study, but I have always envied (but never copied) the Barcelona style post dinner outside stroll. It makes sense that if you go outside and walk after dinner that your metabolism will stay more active than if you eat and then sit down in front of the television. Tonight, after dinner, I went out into our woods and picked up branches and cut logs. It was a full hour of activity. Not cardio. In fact, more like a Barcelona stroll while carrying weights.

    Yes to all 3 and even tough it looks like I was under calories I am afraid I estimated appetizers at dinner too low, so i will take a pass #1

    Early morning jiu jitsu was exercise. The boys pitched this time!!!!

    Food was good and all logged under goal.

    Afternoon off soaking up winter sun and reading my book. It was heavenly.
