So I went to my pcp for my yearly physical and I mentioned that I’m losing weight with the intention of tic next year. When I asked if there was anything I should do she told me to start pre-natal strength folic acid supplements when I’m 6 months out from tcc. she warned that the pills are often huge. Does anyone know any brand that does small easy to swallow ones? I hate gagging on pills and would much rather take a few than one huge one. Thanks.

Do you like gummies? Vitafusion has some prenatal gummies. I've also heard good things about Smarty Pants brand.

I take Zahler Mighty Minis that I buy on amazon. They contain DHA, too, and are really small softgels. Not sure how they pack everything in!

The generic ones I bought at Target were pretty easy to swallow and didn't have the disgusting multi-vitamin taste that so many others have. They are still large but smaller than others I took.

You could try looking into the ones where you have to take 2 or 3 a day since those should be smaller.

I prefer to take a prenatal multivitamin, but i oddly can find swallowing small pills equally as uncomfortable since they sometimes tend to try and float away hahah.

I like the idea of a gummy. I’ll definitely look into that. Thanks for all the suggestions.
