Everyday, I open a discussion page. All members should find the daily page and add their own report as if it is a response to my opening post. You can either just post what you have done that day or add your own interests and comments. We like to relate.
The photo above was taken on Sunday outside Le Fígaro French cafe in Los Angeles, CA. The young couple are my daughter, Catherine and her husband, Brad. He is 6’5”.
My wife Rose and I flew to LA last Tuesday for a legal conference. We enjoyed 3 additional days visiting with Brad & Catherine12 -

Yes X3 for me. 5km walk to start the day. I also got lots of NEAT in with making a huge batch of cupcakes for a fundraiser at work and had to go back to the shops twice for forgotten ingredients!2

While I have PC access (it's too annoying to do on the phone) I will post the selfie i took this morning with Lucie, our 3 year old female seal. Her mom Sammy is my favourite and dad Lucky is out best show seal. Lucie has inherited the best from both parents and is amazing!

Fathers day here in Australia. Steak lunch and meatza for dinner with pavlova for dessert.
Good day with family.
Also had a short walk with wife between lunch and dinner.
Also was accepted to compete in the Australia national drone racing championships in Perth in November. So lots of flying practice needed.

Exercised?: Yes. 5 hours of gardening, this was now light deadheading, we took out a 9ft shrub.

Did some weights after work (while the torrential downpour happened, poor ironman athletes still on the course for an extra swim during their run). Frustrating because I had to drop all the weight off the bar for squats while I work on a form correction. I'm also weak in overhead press so that is bar only as well. Deadlift was good and in a couple of weeks I should be deadlifting my bodyweight! Assisted pull-ups went super well too and I will be reducing the assist next time.
Food all logged and calories under.
Spring is our rainy season but I can't complain as we need it badly!5 -

Sept 2
Pass day #1 for me (so early in the month!) Whilst it being Father’s Day in itself didn’t mean it had to be a pass day, the amount of ‘guesstimation’ with eating out was going to be too hard and guess-y in the end. Back to normal tomorrow.

Exercise - walked for 100 min. Today is a huge football day in Saskatchewan. Every year before this game my partner makes the trek from where we are staying to the stadium for luck. I joined him for the walk and we won

I was going to add more lawn mowing to my exercise, but when mowing at my dad's the mosquitoes were horrible, even with deet!!

I ate at a super yummy food truck at a seaside location and selected the grilled fish tacos. I did not order an entire order of fries for myself but I shared a basket with my husband and toddler. I consider this a huge victory!3 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes! another 20 minutes+ of walking. Went the longer route to my bus... and instead of waiting 20 minutes for one bus that would take me right outside of my meeting, I waited 2 minutes and got a bus that that stopped a 10 minute walk away from where I was going!
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes! i didn't eat much today, and boy did i feel it! I feel the challenge of eating at work still.... especially since there is nothing healthy in starbucks! I've been living off their egg white egg bites! tomorrow I have time before a meeting in the evening to have a decent supper- I literally pass a sushi place to get to the bus so I am planning on going there and making good choices!

had a really good day, cleaned the entire house and walked up n down the stairs a lot, did some rounds of lunges, push ups, and ab exercises too. rewarded myself with a packet of shortbread cookies, sparkling water, and a nap/cuddle with my cats ❤️❤️2 -
Exercise: lots of horseback activity with grandchildren and their friends. I did over 90 minutes of walking horses and instructing children. A delightful time was had by all
