    Another wet/soggy day here....

    Nothing on radar but catching up on school work.

    Gave up asking for pics.

    Bon Voyage - SamIAM - did anyone else get the DMIL Margartiaville Invitation? HJ and I were asked to lead a Conga for Elders class. Hmmm?

    Good Morning BBB.
    I totally missed checking in yesterday.
    Dinner with friends in city was fantastic.
    They arrive before we did and while sitting at the bar and noticed that the restaurant GM went over and told people that were in our table that they had to leave. Our friends ask if that table was reserved for “Ray” and he said yes and they said they were with me so he told them to have a seat at the table and he brought them cocktails. That is Chicago style.

    Lisa - I was really good on Friday and most of Saturday but then it all went south - I totally lost control and ate calimari, bruschetta, half of a chicken chopped salad, and TWO large pieces of the best deep dish pizza in the world. Thin, hard crust made with way too much butter that runs up the side of the pan holding the most incredible combination of cheeses, sausage, mushroom, onion, and green pepper. And part of a chocolate chip cookie baked in a small deep dish pan - hot out of the oven piled with rich, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce.
    I normally only go a bit off the wagon but this was huge!

    Go AB Go!

    Good morning BBB friends.

    OK, I won't get into the discussion of whether that deep dish casserol thing is really a pizza … o:) .

    The church choir is back in action this morning, but a lot of members are traveling, so we'll be way down on numbers. I will be the only one of five members of the bass section present, meaning the parts where only the basses are singing become solos. Hope I don't sound too much like an old sergeant bellowing at a formation of troops.

    Happy football is back. Go Seahawks!

    Packers vs da Bears tonight, but we're still lounging in the glamper, hot coffee, zucchini banana bread, and sun is shining, but did get down into the upper 40s during night. Good for xtra blanket and snuggles.

    Fun date day/night Sat... old school dime store visit, casino donation, a wonderful sunset and filet mignon dinner, martinis, great company, our life is good!

    College football openers for my Badger and Buckeye alums went well!

    Enjoy the ship Sam!

    So could extend the weekend upnorf. Lol

    Fall is in the air, love this time of year! The lake is gorgeous can't wait for the colors to come in!

    David - this particular deep dish pizza is like no other and therefore I generally agree with you that most deep dish pizza is like a lot of “bread” with stuff in it. This is nothing like that.
    Come to Chicago and I’ll show you.

    Ummm, can I come with David? I like Pizzaria Uno's and Nancy's. Actually, I like pizza. Then again, I'm supposed to be Losing with Lisa.

    Hi all

    Almost home after a fun weekend with my family. Had a family reunion at a pumpkin patch that my dad's sil owns. Not everything was set up since it was raining off and on but the kids had a blast.

    Food choices weren't great but since I knew I was reporting in they could have been so so much worse. Will get them on the other thread after we get the lawn mowed in the waning daylight. Ron is traveling with me the next two weeks so it is tonight it never.
