Hello, new here!

Hi guys!
I’m new here so I thought I would introduce myself. I used MFP a few years ago when my weight crept up 15 lbs over two years. Over the past three years, it all came back...double. I went vegan in June and have never been happier. I have so much more energy, and my jeans fit better, although I learned at the doctor yesterday that I have not lost a single pound.
On the plus side, I have been eating everything vegan my heart desires, in crazy amounts, and not actually gained weight.
However, time to try and shed! My goal is to reduce my portion size...I think this is a big problem for me...my appetite comes back with a vengeance, and also reduce my fat intake, as well as my soy intake. Overall, I eat pretty healthy, lots of plants and whole foods, but I think I just have to cut back a little.
I’m on my feet all day for work, and stopped exercising a few months ago for medical reasons, but can begin again after surgery around mid-February, so I will be hearing back to the gym.
Any advice for vegan weight loss, something I missed?

    Im back again too. Have been off work due to injury but heading back in a week or so. Looking for friends as well:-)

    I went vegetarian to vegan last summer. I’m trying to lose weight also. I initially gained weight most likely due to portions also. I’m currently trying to cut out oils.
