Hello, I'm Kat and I wanted to talk about Workout Schedules and Meal Planning; what do you find has worked the most so far for you?

Working Out:
What is the best schedule you've developed?
How many days do you work out?
What activities do you do? Do the activities alternate depending on the day?

Meal Planning:
Do you plan your meals throughout the week? Daily or at the start of the week?
How often do you shop for groceries to fit your plan?
What is typically the best daily plan? Would it go Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, then Dinner?

I know there's quite a few questions but I want to see how other's are doing it and what's been working for them. I'm trying to get my life together and live more healthy.

for working out my goal is 30min -1hr a day of running, biking, swimming, yoga or bootcamp
I try to workout everyday. I swim on Saturdays, Do bootcamps Mon & Wednesday and run and do yoga inbetween.

    For today I ate
breakfast: 1 slice of toast with 1tbsp of nutbutter.
lunch: plain oatmeal (was at tim hortons and it was that or a salad for healthier choices)
dinner: salad crunchy chopped vegetables, chick peas and a couple tbsp of hummus mixed in.
snacks: olives, cottage cheese with grapes and chia seeds on top.

I try to keep it simple. I made a huge chick pea and veggie salad I have been eating the last few days. Yesterday my husband grilled steaks so I had my salad and half a steak for dinner.

I have a 19 & 22 yrs old at home so I shop twice a weekish. For me I have regular foods I eat over and over. Like breakfast eggs, toast, yogurt, oatmeal, cottage cheese. Lunch cheese and a couple saltinees, tuna, soup, or salad. Dinner is usually meat and veggies. My favourite go to snacks to curb sweet craving banana with nut butter, frozen grapes or frozen fruit blended to make it like ice cream consistency

    Same questions what about you?
