Fat Fast

I was tooling around on YouTube last night (I love KetoConnect, btw), and found a woman (I can't remember her channel) who had completed a 5 day fat fast. I did a little more researching and I'm intrigued...I don't think it is something I would do at this juncture, as I have only been on a ketogenic diet since the end of July.

She recommended a fat fast if a person has hit a plateau that hasn't budged in 3+ weeks with tweaking macros. The fat fast would be for 3-5 days, 1000-1200 calories per day, at 85% fat, 5% carbs, and 10% protein. She did drop 6lbs in that time frame, but I wonder if that had more to do with her calorie restriction than the increase in fat?

Has anyone else tried a fat fast?

    Interesting but have not heard anything about it. Check out water fast as well or dry fast.
