You know me, I love books.
Most recently I read Ketotarian. And, while it wasn't the best written book, it really spoke, no, it YELLED to me.
It focuses on a "plant heavy" approach to a low carb lifestyle. The recipes are mostly plant based, with some optional "just add fish" recipes.
I like to keep my carbs lower than the average dieter, and seek out "good carbs". Hubs is mostly vegetarian. THIS book gave me lots of ideas on how to eat a plant focused diet while keeping the carbs low.
Worth a read for vegetarians, or vegetarian wanna bes. The only part that didn't resonate with me was the removal of dairy. (That's not going to happen). NOT a vegan pushing book at all, which is good, he's just not a fan of dairy for inflammatory reasons.

Thanks for the review. I think I just might pick this one up!
It's kind of gratifying to see a book that supports the way I eat (well, I do eat dairy). I get so much negativity in other forums because I always push people to eat more veggies and not sweat the carbs. I eat up to 50g/carbs a day and produce ketones. I'm off of a ton of meds and down 34lbs in just over 2 months. So, I'm not changing anything I'm doing any time soon2 -

I wish the amazon preview included some of the recipes...or at least a listing of the recipe names...0

I found some "ketotarian recipes" on google...but they don't really seem very plant based...they all have some kind of meat, egg, or cheese...0

Yeah, seems "ketotarian" is used in several ways out there. One being just "Keto"0 -
