Congratulations to the October UAC Winner's Circle Qualifiers!!!
These individuals completed 31 days of thoughtful tracking of caloric intake; consuming less calories than their chosen limit; intentionally exercising for at least 20 minutes per day; and reporting in to the group.

Calories - no. I had loads and loads of spare calories for dinner but a last minute family decision to get pizza put me over I think. Lesson learned to stop at 2 small pieces and fill up with salad next time! 🍕9 -

Work from home again today.
Wife still losing weight. Weekly weigh in was not as low as expected, but still trending in the right direction. She has her appointment with the diabetes specialist next week. We find out if her HbA1c is in the normal range of between 4% and 5.6% (pretty sure it will be).
Will post monthly goals in the morning.
Congratulations to all who stayed reporting for all of last month (whether you made circle or not). Consistency is the key.
Also congratulation to all who made circle. Shows you can keep consistency.

Admittedly, we all knew there would be a big swell coming but I hoped to be able to get out and surf the first waves, before it becomes impossible. So I did but I only had 30 minutes until I decided to get the hell out of there because fun would soon turn into trouble.
Food wise, today was Christmas rehearsal for me. I cooked smaller portions of things I'll make for Christmas to see if my ideas worked, so I didn't make it to stay within my Calories but glad I did it because some recipes need to be worked on.9 -
Exercise: Yup! 1 hour walk, 15 minute jog (lumbering waddle, more like)
Calories: Just out, and too high on carbs. Didn't eat throughout the day, so I'm proud of the fact that made good protein and fibre choices, but weakened out after dinner on some cookies. Otherwise, actually quite proud of what I did.
Tracked: Sure did, but not until I woke up this morning (Nov 2 here in Aus)

Welcome all new, and returning UAC members! Hang tough to meet your goals this month, but also remember to be gentle and forgiving with yourself for any backslides or bumps in the road. We can and will do this!!
First day back to trail running after fracturing my big toe last month. Probably a bit too soon to run on it, ( I'm surprised I waited this long! lol ) but, I love trail running and needed to get back out there.
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, a 60 minute yoga class in the morning, a 60 minute slow, easy trail run/walk in the afternoon, and 60 minutes strength training, 60 minutes Pilates Mat this evening.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for today? Yes

Still not feeling great...made it to work today though. Left after 2 hours...but I did go so that's a positive. Took a nap then a walk with Maggie. Starting to feel a little more human. It's been a rough couple weeks.
