Thanks for your enthusiastic and heart-warming comments on appreciating the good that we see in our loved ones; in our life situation; and in our blessings.
One thing that I want you to ponder for just a moment, is this...appreciate something positive about yourself. You don't need to write anything, just be grateful that you are you. You are not perfect....none of us are.
Have a great day and/or I hope you had a great day.

Sunday
No. Quiet family day recovering after trips away (not mine) and the girls’ dance concert. I didn’t overeat by any stretch of the imagination; I just didn’t track or exercise
Monday
Exercised - Yes, treadmill and bike machine
Calories - Lots under
Tracked - Yes
Have a wonderful week 🌻 Many thanks for this group and the ongoing inspiration8 -
Yes x3 today. I did eat more chocolate than usual but at 18000 steps for the day it wasn't a disaster and I was still under my calories.9

Work from home. Got lots of things done today.
My wife is on a 48 hour fast at the moment. Self experimentation to determine whether it has beneficial or adverse effects. Working on inducing ketosis and autophagy. Monitoring blood glucose levels closely to ensure no issues with hypoglycemic episodes.
Not much else to report.
@RangerRickL. What I appreciate about me. That is a tough one. I think what I appreciate the most about myself is my adaptability, intelligence, capability to learn, and at times, self discipline. No way I could do what I do without those qualities.
I also appreciate my family, friends and UAC (but this was not the question).
Learning to appreciate aspects of oneself is a BIG step along success in health management. Too often it is easy to get caught up comparing our own "behind the scenes" footage with everyone else's "edited highlights".8 -
Exercise - 1h30 road bike ride / and gym cross training later

I think the thing I appreciate about myself is I don't expect perfection but I do expect the best out of myself. I try to look at my disappointments in myself as room to grow and learn how to do better next time. I try my best to look for the good in others and be a friend when they need it most. Not that any of us can do that enough but we must try. I truly want to be the one that when people speak of me (and people do and will) they can recall a lot more positive than negative things.
Growing, learning and being proud of how you live your life iand how you treat others is the best gift you can give yourself.
Wow, some thoughty questions Rick8 -
Gonna have a pass, I'm getting more ill as the day goes and unable to exercise properly (i'm walking around and doing laundry but it doesnt feel like exercise, just something to keep me from getting stiff).
I really needed to see RangerRick's message of the day It's hard to say what I appreciate about myself but I guess I appreciate my kindness, open mindedness, passion for baking/cooking/confections, and my desire to be who I always wanted to be & putting my foot down and taking control of my own self and not letting anything get in the way.
I don't appreciate myself very often but I'm always appreciating & being thankful for others & my family and all the other things life gives me.
I cut all my hair off (maybe 20in? give or take) yesterday with kitchen scissors (not what i planned to do but the good shears broke after the first cut ), and now I gotta deal with how unprofessional/messy it looks lol but I guess as we grow up we gotta experience a bad at-home haircut at some point yea? But I had to cut my hair cuz it's always in the way and short hair is way more functional. I like to see it as a symbol of how I'm maturing & changing9 -

Exercise: Sure did! Did me some treadmill jogging for about 30 mins
Calories: I THINK so? I didn't eat until late afternoon, and I kept within most of my ranges. When I got home, I know I went over on carbs and natural sugars, but this morning (Tuesday) I weighed in, and I'm down 2.2 lbs from about 10 days ago.
Tracked: Mostly - I got a little binge-happy towards the end of the evening, which was harder to track, but I'm okay with that.6 -
I suspect that it may be problematic that I never stop to think about appreciating myself. Ranger Rick certainly caused me to reflect.
I think I most appreciate that I continue to look forward to what tomorrow will bring. Something, I am sorry to say, that is not the case with too many of my peers. You don't have much choice about ahing, but you have quite a bit of choice re "getting old".
Exercise - 50 minutes rowing, 30 minutes weights, 1 hour on the horse.
Calories - well under

Calories: over
Tracked: every lil bit
I appreciate my strength, creative problem solving, kindness, genuine positive attitude, my passion for helping others’ grow, my deep curiosity/love of learning, and my drive for health.
I was walking in my house when I heard a radio report that parents not have their kids run around inside either, so I didn’t get to my typical 10-12K. Health first.
I have long suspected that the reason I’ve been successful this time losing weight is daily exercise. I now KNOW this to be true.
I won’t likely be in the winner’s circle unless the smoke somehow magically disappears overnight, but I will keep updating here!
Sometimes, I have found, the rough bumps I. The road are when we learn and grow the most. 🌺🌼🌸🌞💐5 -
