When did you start exercise on low carbs?

Just wondering when people started to do exercise or not on low carbs. And did your weight loss slow down after you started exercise. Also what kind of exercise are you u doing?

    I was exercising long before I was low carb. I do a combination of strength training, pilates, cardio, and yoga/flexibility work.

    When I started restricting my carbs (under 75, net under 50) - I felt fatigued, and found that I lost my motivation to exercise. After one month of this, I upped my carbs - and my motivation returned. I haven't been trying to lose - just maintain, and I am successful at that. Tho, starting today, I'm going to try to lose some more. I like to walk, run, bike, getting more into ST and yoga, too.

    I was running before and when I started. I was also getting over a ankle injury so my endurance was crap. I had no running energy or stamina for at least two months but it seems to be coming back.

    2 years keto. I was in lousy shape when I started so all I did for exercise was walk. After 9 months the keto energy kicked in and I started exercising more. Now? Lifting weights, walking, HIIT and more. Keto + exercise = Welcome to a "fit/in shape" Maintenance. :)

    I just restarted my diet and started exercise at the same time. I find it gets me into ketosis more quickly than diet alone. I feel more energy after exercise. I do Pilates, aquafit and PT.

    Food and exercise are 2 different realms. Not sure why or how are they linked in your question/mind. I exercised most of my life. Went low carb 2 years ago. There was no connection between the two.

    I found after switching to low carb that I struggled a bit in my exercise. I got fatigued faster, hit the wall sooner on my runs and struggled to lift as much. Some adjusting was required. Food will impact your body and your body will adjust but it takes time and attention. Salt helped immensely. Any time you start or stop an exercise routine or start or stop a way of eating your body needs to adjust.

    I started in July and it took me months to adapt. I was running up a hill this morning and thought "my legs don't feel heavy anymore". When I started I was forced to take walk breaks which is not normal for me. Once I can get back to 30+ miles a week I am going to start looking at some half marathons again, can't wait.
