    She clearly was an amazing mom to have raised a man like you: a family man, a positive man, a responsible man, and a deeply wise man. At this difficult time, you posted these discussion pages for us. Truly, you are a Hero among men.

    Yes, I ran. Because none of the injuries is going to get worse if I keep on training, although they hurt and it hasn't really been any fun. Neither will be physio tonight but let's look at the positives, things will get better.

    I'm back on track today. Did was under and logged although choices were limited as I was too tired to shop when I got home last night. Bonus is that I don't keep unhealthy options in the house.

    Run this morning and judo tonight with lots of throws happening. Small class so I got to work with 2 black belts which is super helpful!

    Early morning, November 13, my mom, Gloria A. Tomlinson, died at age 87. When she was admitted to the hospital on November 12, the tests showed that her tired old heart was just too weak and that as a consequence her kidneys were failing. She admonished me, her Health Care Agent, that she did not want extraordinary efforts and that she would not elect to have dialysis.
    Since my career is focused in serving the aging and often dealing with death & dying. I told her that I understood my orders. (After all, I have spent a life time following my mom's orders.) It never came to making that choice as her heart gave out.
    My mom had a tough life and yet, a good life. She was down to earth and a often unfiltered. She always pushed me. I am the oldest of her 4 children.
    I am going to set up the discussion pages for days November 14-17. I know that I can count on you all to enjoy sharing with each other while I am focused on my family.

    @RangerRickL I just rang my mother to tell her I love her and miss her - thank you for that prompt; and I'm sorry for your suffering.

    Exercised: This morning was a 12km walk along a series of beaches, pretty standard way to get to the office
    Calories: If I do okay tonight, then YES!
    Tracked: So far, so good.
