Is the shake stronger than the coffee?

I'm not a morning person to be honest, but I work downtown Ottawa; so early mornings have now become the norm. I'm slowly getting use to this and it has only taken me 11 years to get to get to this point.

I have a deep love for coffee. All started when I was nine; probably because it was the thing my dad’s side did (drank a lot of coffee) and I was trying my best to fit in. The ‘nectar of the Gods’ have gotten me through a lot of overtime and volunteer hours. I know I won’t be giving up this coffee love affair any time soon, but I have always been looking for an alternate energy boost in the mornings and I think I’ve discovered it!

I've recently started adding a veggie/fruit shake in the morning and I have to admit, this is helping me wake up more than my coffee; shocking and ground-breaking at this point. It has frozen ingredients and some fresh, but I feel like a million bucks. My body now wants this shake and my new found energy is now making me think, I could possible reconsider working out in the mornings again.
Ingredients:
• Frozen Spinach (two bundles)
• Frozen Kale (1/2 cup)
• Frozen Blueberries (1/2 cup)
• Half a Green Apple
• 1 Cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk
• Cold water to help mix
• Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.

All in all – this new found energy is making a difference and I’m getting a ridiculous amount of stuff done around my house before I leave in the morning. Who knows, maybe the shake is stronger than the coffee?

What is your morning routine and do you have any routines that help kick-start your day?

Two eggs, oatmeal and a veggie or two
    Workout, post workout shake
    Protein, carb, veggie
Shake with fruit and a veggie on the side (I think I need to blend it, I skip this veggie serving, a lot)
    Then lunch
    I eat a lot, when I eat...
