Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?

Yesterday, one of our team mates lamented that he is stronger; healthier and more energetic BUT, he is not losing weight. Don't get trapped by yesterday's false idea that you have failed if your weight does not keep dropping.
See this quick article on fat, muscle and the scale..

@RangerRickL
Thank you for the great article!
I’m curious...how often do those of you in maintenance weigh yourselves?
I’ve been tracking my weight daily for 431 days. I think it’s been useful as I’ve learned to worry far less about day to day fluctuations & to focus on monthly averages.
BUT I do notice I’m happier or a little less buoyant for 30-60 minutes if I’ve lost/maintained vs gained.
Curious what others do!2 -
Exercised- No (struggling with work and end of school year rehearsals and performances for my kids)
Calories- Not terrible but slightly above the restricted number I am on to lose weight
Tracked- Yes
That all said, I lost weight anyway this week.6 -

Yes x 3. Made it through another holiday get-together without going over on calories. 25 days left ... trying to avoid a pass day as long as possible!5

exercise - yes - no cardio because my lungs are tight but I did do a strength session.
Calories - yes - I am very happy about that since I was home all day and that usually spells trouble
tracked - yes - it is easier when you are home all day4 -
Yes x 3 - a good workout session and some yoga that really played with the spine. It was fun and felt good - soreness that I had from the lady couple of days is gone.
In the question of weighing in maintenance I know what you mean about those buoyant vs deflated feelings @MadisonMolly2017 . I weigh daily when working out and really controlling things (months I'm doing UAC for example!) but then I coast for a while without weighing to see how well I do, and how much my lifestyle has really changed. I weigh periodically to make sure I don't go past my max limit. If clothes get a bit tight or I feel slack or lazy, the tracking and weighing daily come right back. Those periods of non-tracking are also learning times and less about the numbers (calories or pounds).6 -
Yesterday was my first pass day. Not hard to track or stay under calories when the only thing to input is a piece of bread! But a bad stomach bug kept me from any exercise.
I was in bed by 6:30 last night and I’m feeling much better today though still no appetite. Well under calories and did half an hour of yoga. Felt good to stretch muscles after spending so much time in bed yesterday.7 -

Yes x3 today! Under calories, all tracked, and definitely did enough exercise as I worked as a nurse 13 hours, very busy, in hospital.3
