Oh gosh, I am so sorry you're in pain. I had a j tube through my nose a couple of years ago when I had a dangerously serious abdominal problem. I was so disturbed by the tube, and the side effects of tube feeding and being NPO...I mostly slept away all my time in the hospital and I was there for two weeks! Getting it out was a wonderful feeling. The crazy thing was that i was diagnosed as though my body was starving for nutrition. That's why I came back to this website, so I can visualize my eating and make sure I get enough of the right things to eat for my health. My stomach does not tolerate many of the foods regular folks eat. So it is actually hard for me to eat well. If you want to be friends and correspond regularly, friend me and I will accept. Sometimes I don't always go to the groups, because so many people seem to write a post and then drop out of sight.
