    Mornin' BBB.

    Beautiful mugs Lisa. Welcome home.

Love how the photo at the beach focuses on the beverage. Don't they go topless in Brazil at the beach?

    Good Morning BBB.
Rain overnight. Getting stuff setup. Picking up a few more boxes from the storage unit for another round tomorrow before the Bears game. Monday starts work mode!
Stevie Nicks inducted in the rock and roll Hall of Fame for second time (with Fleetwood Mac and now solo) - love her!
    Lisa - welcome home!
    Lou - love the pic.
Dennis - we know the AV takes work but I'm sure many are unaware.
Mary - we are going to get a little tree today - ho ho ho!
Sam - how are you feeling?
Steph - I hope the flight was smooth and you can relax at home a bit.
Dave - I use my mini bowl everyday for my supplements - love it.
    Do good out there everyone

    Hi, BBB

Flu full blown. Feel like a semi ran me over. Ugh. Sweaty Italian anyone?

Good day yesterday with me Dad. Spaghetti dinner seemed to be a big hit at Post. One of the Auxiliary ladies sent him home with his OWN pineapple cake. There was a day - I was the BMOC at the VFW. Nope. No more.

Going to try to nurse the day here at home.

    Raining.....

Lou - I hope a sand crab bites you in unmentionable areas! We are freezing our baguettes off up here.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Well that's not good Skip. Trust me, I know. Especially with your Dad visiting.
    • I love listening to Stevie Nicks too. Rumors has to be one of the best albums ever.
    • The last time I went to a topless beach it wasn't a pretty site. The wrong people were topless if you know what I mean.
    • DW headed out on her own yesterday for a little shopping. That's a good sign.
    • We were scheduled to trek across the state for a holiday dinner with friends and their family. It just became too hectic so we opted out. Today will be a rest day.
    • Have a great Saturday BBB.

    Good morning BBB friends.

DW felt well enough yesterday, to go to DGD's Christmas Pageant, but her cold is back in force, today. Think I will retreat to the shop.

    Good Afternoon,
Too many sick folks here during the holidays, hope all are feeling better soon.
Lisa, grits are a southern staple, always cook at least 30 minutes even quick grits; suggest shrimp N' grits that was on WW hand out a few weeks ago. I like to cook grits with 1/2 water and half chicken broth or milk then stir in grated cheese at end.
Beautiful bowl Dave, glad Rita is better.
Glad that Kris is better and able to go shopping
Went to WW this morning, training new guide, taking easy balance of day.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

Sam, you're a trainer now? I am allergic to seafood, but I'll try them with the chicken broth and cheese. :)

I'm glad your DW could make it to the pageant, Dave. I'll bet it meant the world to DGD!

Rest days are good, Dennis. We're kinda doing one of those, too. Now if Dd27's bf would just GO HOME, all would be well. *sigh*

    Flu sucks, Skip. Shoot.

Be sure to share a picture of that tree, Raine!

    Thanks, Lee!

Etta seems to have a sore leg. She doesn't cringe at all when we touch it, but she's avoiding the stairs or jumping up onto anything. My guess is that she overworked it while she was at the farm ... should we be looking for anything else, Lee or Raine?

I can't tell, Lee and Raine. Her previous owners told us to give her an aspirin. Yes, she had a LOT more activity for the past week ... she was at the farm, herding sheep, chasing geese, and running a lot more than when she's here.

Lee can address it better but I do not give aspirin.
Make sure she is getting enough Omega 3 - if you need guidance - at least 200mg per 10 pounds of body weight - I use Grizzly Salmon Oil for dogs and I give jack 3 pumps a day.

I'm not a big fan of aspirin, I only recommend it short term and its some thing OTC that most folks can easily obtain. Omega 3s usually take a couple of weeks but I highly recommend them even if just for skin and coat. But high doses do help with any joint inflammation.
