    One of the mysteries of our eating culture is the reputation of the muffin as a heathy pick. I know those donuts are a calorie bomb. The plump bagels are just huge wads bead. (Well, maybe the whole wheat would be ok.) No, I’ll have the blueberry muffin. Everyone knows blueberries are healthy. And muffins must be ok for some reason.

    In fact, muffin is just another word for cake.
