    Good Morning!

    Welcome, Rick!

Well, I do have to go into work today. We did confirm that I have Monday off, so another 4 day weekend. I'm looking forward to that. Because we get Monday off, I don't think we will close early today.

I went to a specialist to have a "thing" looked at on my ear. The specialist didn't do a biopsy. He was more like "why are you here?" We agreed to meet back in a month, and if nothing changes, forget this silly idea. I'm approaching 60, and as you guys can attest, people at our age sometimes just get weird growths on their skin.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin' gents.

Yep, hate it when the doc wonders why you are preventing them from getting out of the office early.

But as Dave can attest I'm sure, its good to get a professional opinion.

So I got a huge hunk of Stilton blue cheese, half a wheel, as a Christmas gift. So I made bacon blue burgers last night. The only OP thing was the flax seed pita they were served on instead of a brioche bun.

    Be OP ;-)

    Morning.

Shut my computer off a few days while rearranging furniture to make room for tree. Massive cleaning/ decluttering yesterday and day before, with 3 trash bags out the door, so I can now walk around again without tripping or having to move things as I go...

Christmas was nice-- lunch at DD's with a few family, although at one point DS brought girlfriend's small dog (she was away for the week) and it and DD's Bernese Mtn dog nearly killed each other twice, with the cat refereeing now and then. All while 14 year old DGS test-drove his new hoverboard around the kitchen and dining room and played rock music on his new speakers. Family time.

Haven't weighed myself this week... Haven't tracked either, or hiked at all, as I had planned to, but I don't think damage was done. Potential ice storm here today, rainy and 30° outside, so may not hike today either.

Welcome, Rick. We've all been doing WW many years, on and off, and are still working at it in one way or another. I lost 47 lbs. and put back on a stubborn 25 I'm still working on 17 years later. My biggest gripe with WW was that as soon as I learned the system they changed it so significantly that I would lose all my momentum.

    Good Morning!

    Welcome back Rick!

Up early to head up to the snow at Badger Pass in Yosemite for snowshoeing. First time in many a year. Overpriced easy on/off chains arrived yesterday which we need to carry but shouldn’t need which is good since I have only watched a video a few times on the process. Swedish p/IKEA style picture instructions included. Shoulder is responding well now. Rest and doing stretching right before bed really helps. Feel free to lay bets on which acts up first on me: knee, back or shoulder. Knee is the favorite on the board. Packing pills & TENS unit. Trying to eat better now but there is that Mexican restaurant we always stop at on the way home.

Christmas packed up and put away already? Do you make house calls?

    Good morning gentlemen.

    Welcome, Rick.

Snowshoeing sounds great - but I loaned my snowshoes to DS for his week in British Columbia, so I'll have to wait. We're in another extended period of lousy weather, anyway. Rain down here usually means heavy snow in the mountains, and increased avalanche risk. I am very cautious about avalanche conditions in the back country.

Had the DGKs last night and they'll be here through the weekend, before we pass them on to their other grandparents.
