Gooooooooooooood morning BBB!
I'm up and getting ready early. I am doing a coaching this morning that's an hour each way. Thank goodness for nearly no snow! After that I have a sweet 15 year old coming over to sing with me ... she wants to be on our worship team. I'm really looking forward to it!
Have any of you seen the Netflix show Tidying up with Maria Kondo? I watched a few episodes yesterday and got all inspired. It's really cool how she folds clothes in a drawer ... you can see ALL of them at once and it doesn't mess up the drawer to take any one of them out. I immediately sorted our dresser and redid it all ... and I got 2 trash bags of old stuff out to donate in the process. Later today I think I'll do our closet.

I just roll clothes tightly like packing in a ruck sack. I will check out Maria's method, though. One can never know too many clothes folding tricks.

Up and at it!
Teaching Essential Oils 101 class later this morning - I love this basic class because that is when you can see peoples' eyes light ups as they "get" it. Organizing necessaries to bring including making dark chocolate and wild orange brownies.
We got our "clam" 6 sided tent up and strapped down - we will use it for storage of plastic bins, bicycles, and for a couple zero gravity lounge chairs to chill out in out of the sun.
Lisa - I googled Marie Kondo - very interesting. I'll check it out. Cool how she makes everything accessible. We still have too much stuff so we are still going through and giving away as we organize.
Lee - good luck finding a suitable trial location.

State of CT is being a real stick in the mud on a property that is perfect. Would even work for a National trial. Got to draw up a proprosal and even if accepted, policy change on its use would not allow us to use it until 2021 or beyond. Need to call in some political favors. Sheesh.0

Good morning BBB friends.
Had fun with grandkids movie night, last night. Watched a string of old Disney cartoons, "Mickey Mouse's The Prince and the Pauper," and the first half of "Happy Feet," before it got to be too far past bed time and we tucked them in. They can finish Happy Feet this morning while they wait for their mom to pick them up.
Cool and dry, here on Puget Sound, so DW and I will get out for another walk, after the kids leave.0 -
It's Sat! My favorite day of the week!
SO is working til noon. Then it's off to his sisters to split up some 14k gold plated Christmas ornaments that were their Moms. So nice of her to give him some.
Still no snow around here. Mild temps for SE Wisc. One of these days we're going to get hit with a blizzard.

I feel slack - slept until 8a!
Snow coming - but not worried. I do have to trek to office for a couple hours.
The shutdown *kitten*show continues! Furloughed feds told that they will have to start paying insurance premiums out of their pocket if shutdown continues one more pay period. Ugh!
Lee - Good Luck with the political favor. I love it when you can call one in and it actually yields results. You don't happen to know "The Donald" do you? I have a favor to ask him.....SMH!

- It turned cold here. We had highs around 70° earlier in the week and 43° is the expected high today.
- Ready for night in with football playoffs and a bottle of Cabernet iced tea.
- Nice trip with the DW to Milledgeville yesterday. We did what I wanted to do and then went to Wallyworld and Hobby Lobby.
- Went to a session last night discussing the sites we are going to see in the Holy Land in March. I did tell you I am going to the Holy Land right?

Morning BBB
Got FIL loaded but it was already snowing in Kansas City so they didn't take off. We have a few more things to we are giving him we need to cram in the truck.
Today going to head to the apartment to clean from top to bottom. Carpets are getting shampooed on Tuesday and then I will slowly start hauling stuff over.
I recommend Nerf guns or the game headbands for 4yo. Even though the robes were the biggest hit this Christmas0 -
Good Afternoon,
Worked WW this morning, dropped Masonic ring off to be sized; was my DGF, fit when I first got it, arthritis has caused knuckles to enlarge.
Think we are meeting some family for supper tonight, weather forecast is for cold rain or possible freezing rain in North GA. over hour from home.
Since DW had surgery on hand, DMIL has been hoovering over DW thinking that she cannot do anything for self. DW gets up by 6:30 at latest, DMIL maybe up by 11. DMIL comes upstairs goes into our bedroom, bath and closet and lays some of ugly-st combination of clothes out for DW comes into greatroom and tells DW she is ready to bath her and get her dressed. DW had already gotten her bath, dressed, fixed her breakfast and been to our neighbors and written so checks for her. DMIL has a meltdown that she can't do anything. I tell her she can set table, dust furniture and turn on vacuum; she will not do any of that. Could be helpful.
DD had left several bottles of wine here Sunday before New Year's along with vodka and scotch; called and ask me to put up for next time company comes over, cannot find any of it.

Neighborhood b/day party was a smashing good time!
They are a traditional Indian family and the food was catered - all authentic Indian cuisine. I've never had - but am now a HUGE fan of Indian food! My sinuses are still running!
It was pandemonium so we didn't stay for the gifts opening. Of course I still have affection for the fire service and think all kids wanna grow up to become fireman. I opted for fire helmets and some two way radios. We'll see if they like them or not!
Snow just started falling. We'll see if date night gets interrupted (Fondue at the Lodge tonight with Chef Bonnie). Hmmmm
Nope - don't think you told us you were traveling to the Holy Land, Dennis! WOW! Can you too provide us a daily pictorial update? I'm still exhausted from my recent Brazil (not brazillian - that is in another forum) experience!0 -
