This is a nice summary of the history and health aspects of a ketogenic (or lchf diet).

I'm only half through it but hopefully it stays good.;)

If you know very little about nutrition I found many areas of the series profoundly educational on nutrition and how the body processes food. Naomi covered many angles and many points of view from some very educated people and of course there are some that are a bit "out there" with hints about the products, books and services they offer. From a learning perspective however the series is truly epic.

I watched it this morning and it was well done. The part about the lack of nutrition training by the average doctor was amazing. It's no wonder they can't help any diabetics that seek their help and just want to give them a bunch of pills.

There is 9 episodes with bonus interviews on each segment. It's free to watch all episodes until around dinnertime Sunday.

Apparently there is a bonus episode 10 tonight with nina teicholz and a few others. Starts around 9pm.

I did not get through them all either- not enough time. I skipped most if the last ones. The first ones were the best imo.

I had to scan the last 4 to beat the kill timer but though most were very informative. One result is I am Zero protein and Zero carb for 5 days with today being the first day. CMA has always been of interest to clean out cellular junk that the lack of protein can trigger. Learned it takes 30 hours of fasting before CMA kicks in (that may be for non keto types). Below is an article that I just read on the subject that I found interesting.
