Date: January 31
Exercised?: Yes - 45 minute brisk walk.
Calories?: No - decided to use my second pass day today, as a little treat before the new month/challenge starts tomorrow. Ate over my calorie limit (pizza, oops!) for weight loss, but still under maintenance so pretty happy with that!
Tracked?: Yes - every calorie tracked.
So stoked to have made it to the Winner's Circle in my first month!! It's been a great kick-start to my weight loss efforts.
Well done to everyone who stayed committed to this challenge, making the Winner's Circle or not. We've all done well

A bit discouraged because I wasn't losing weight in Jan! So I took a diet break, tracked loosely and didn't exercise!
Back at it for February though. Shorter month so more of a leeway to slack for a day a week and still be in the winners' circle.

No matter what happens today .... I am in the January winner's circle ! I don't intend to use a pass, but even if I did, it would only be #3
.... (can I carry it over to Feb 1 before it evaporates? I have a likely "intentional pass day" for Feb 1 that has been pre-planned since last November .... ) On the other hand .... with the 2 x 10-minute HIIT sessions I inaugurated this month, (earns 240 exercise calories in only 20 minutes!), I MIGHT be able to squeak through Feb 1 without using it .... at least it won't be a "not enough exercise day" despite going straight to my event from the office.4 -

Exercise yes 10 min quigong, 30 min yoga, 120 min cleaning, 50 min walk at dusk, saw a beautiful barn owl so that was worth braving the cold!

Bad day and bad news. I can't run. Tried twice today and it's too painful, not sure what will be of the race next Sunday...I may still make it to recover enough.
Yesterday turned out to be pass day n. 3 as I lost it to the frustration. Well at least I didn't lose it today.
Exercise: 30m indoor cycling / 40m tentative run but mostly walked

Congrats to all for their success in January. You might never be cognizant of the positive impact a comment you made on the daily thread may have had on another team mate; but you each offer encouragement to others EVERY day that you show up. I, for one, appreciate your dedication. We stand not alone. We are a team of success stories!

Super excited to make the winner’s circle my first month. Congratulations to everyone for making it through the month a little bit healthier. My weight loss was a little slower this month but I added in strength training so I definitely made some muscle💪🏻🏋️♂️

Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes - both the planned and pre-popped evening popcorn I took with me AND the 6 arrowroot cookies from her cupboard ....

I DID IT!!! No pass days at all in January and my first time in the Winner's Circle, all during my first month doing UAC. Woooot!!! Hoping to keep it up in February!6 -

Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
I cannot express how happy I am to have done something for my health for 31 days!! This group has helped me to lose 6.4 pounds and ride 282.2 miles on my bike. I would haven't given up by now, I'm sure, if it wasn't for the accountability I felt I owed to all of you.
Looking forward to another month of the same!!

Well, I thought this much discipline and exercise and low calories would have me to my "goal" by now. Time to reconsider my goal and my methods. Or just enjoy where I'm at - I can do that too! It's been a great exercise to report every day but I'm going to take Feb off from reporting. I've got a couple short trips and I don't want to be in MFP while on them But I might be back for March.
