Macros help please

Hi lovely people. Firstly do i need to calculate macros on Keto?
Ive looked on the fb group suggested in another post and my macros on the chart are different to the one ive worked out according to my current weight. Im a bit confused, the chart is obviously alot less

    Some people just count carbs (I think they call this Lazy Keto.) I just started Oct 1. I'm doing 70% fat, 20% protein, and 10% carb (net carbs maximum.) Since MFP will show all macros, its not much harder to keep track of all 3 rather than just carbs. If my protein and fat percentages are a little off tho, I don't worry about it.

    I'm using the following numbers that were calculated for me on the Keto Karma website. I'm still trying to figure it all out. After 11 days, my new ketone levels shows my ketone level is little higher than necessary, so I'm thinking I may need a few more carbs.

    Daily Nutrition Goals
    Calories 1240
    Carbohydrates 5 %, 15 g
    Fat 67 %, 92 g
    Protein 28 %, 88 g

    Most people I see on youtube are using 20g or less carbs.

    Total Keto beginner here. I had avocado for breakfast and MyFitness Pal logged it as 10 g. From what I understand, net carb of a medium avocado is 2 g. This program doesn't calculate net carbs? This will make it difficult for me. Any help with this?

    Hi all,

    I am here to try out keto, with intermittent fasting! I have worked out my macros (macros are complicated and freak me out by the way), and this is what was suggested:

    * 1350 kcal Goal, a 29% deficit. (722 min, 1914 max)
    * 25g Carbohydrates
    * 88g Protein (66g min, 109g max)
    * 100g Fat (30g min, 162g max)

    1350 kcal Daily Calorie Intake
    25g Carbs (7%, 100 kcal)
    88g Protein (26%, 352 kcal)
    100g Fat (67%, 898 kcal)

    Some people are saying my deficit is too low... is this ok?

    Any help, support, recipes, friends, would be wonderful!

    Subtract dietary fiber from total carbs. This gives you net carbs. Easy.

    Why can’t MFP already take out net carbs when doing the Keto diet. I haven’t even started and already getting confused! It just seems that u need to eat LESS carbs a day- simple as that
