Not quite 4 weeks in and tmi don't think I have any blood left in me! What the heck!! 16 lbs down in 27 days which is wonderful, but why is my body turning on me?! I'm miserable. On the pill, came early. I've only heard about late periods on this WOE, what is happening?!

Lots of hormones stored in fat. Lots of things changing in your body.
I’m on a hormonal IUD that prevented me ever having a cycle at all for 6 years until keto. I’ve had a period every single month since then even though I shouldn’t.
Keto overrides it. The IUD still works. It’s just my body is having a healthy cycle regardless of my interference.
It was all over the place in regularity, or lack of, for nearly a year before it settled down.5 -

There are a lot of hyper linked references at the end of the article if more science is of interest.1 -
hormones can get funky at first. Most just need to wait it out.
If you have symptoms of unexplained or excessive bruising, bleeding gums, frequent or heavy bloody nose, and very heavy period, and tiny red spots all over your skin, then see the doctor soon as that would indicate an inability to clot and a platelet problem.
If it is just heavier than normal period, it is just unlucky.1 -
I survived! I also had acne issues that are getting better now. Hope to not have a repeat of that, thanks to those who commented!2
