Lisa, you are so right about knowing the person. And I'm not sure why I'm so sensitive to passive aggression. If I even sniff it (real or not), I just want cut communication and leave the room.
Please explain to me why there is an ad for an IUD on this page. I'm not female and the thought of it makes me hurt inside.
DW doesn't understand why I would need a camper..."just stay in a hotel/motel".

What book is that quote from? It's good! I try, too ... but I also am not a dog. You know how they say, "if you believe it, you can achieve it" and "you can be anything you set your mind to be"? Ya ... I'll never be a dog. They lie.
When I was in kindergarten, our teacher asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. One boy was VERY serious when he shared that he wanted to be a snowman. This is why I've never believed it when they said we could do anything we wanted. It seems all happy in theory, but no.
And I see an add for Disney. As if they don't have enough of our money!

#FWP today. Had to take Wrangler for coffee. The bluetooth in the wrangler is loud - so had to wear ear buds to chat. I was reminded, ".....oh, how the mighty have fallen" haaaa. Good chuckle for the a/m.

Yesterday was a blur. I had a project to finish and I worked on it until 1am.
I get ads for protein bars and such - interesting Lee.
Raining here since midnight. Some power outages.
Tom is quite non-confrontational but he gave our real estate agent a good talking to yesterday. He had given us a list of properties to see that either did not have aa available lot next to them or had a crack house next to them. Arg. We are set to see some stuff with him today so we shall see how it goes. Our quest may be out of his wheelhouse. We are not just looking for a cookie cutter house.

Not much to report. I am flying home late tonight. Originally I was planning to take PTO and watch my nephew at state wrestling but he got knees in the face last week and broke his nose and forehead so he is on the disabled list.
Better luck with the agent today Raine. When we looked years ago I looked at over 300 houses because they just didn't show me what I was asking for. We actually had 3 different agents over 6 months.0 -

OK. I have an ad for Laguna Tools. You have to love computer cookies and targeted ads. The question now, is why Lee is getting ads for IUDs.
Main roads are clear, here, but neighborhoods and parking lots are still a mess. Rita was still running a fever, last nght, but I don't know whether she can get in to see a doctor. The Army medical center was closed Monday and on limited services yesterday, due to the snow. All the same-day appointments might be taken up by resceduled patients. We'll see.
Passive aggressive is sort of a lifestyle, here in the Northwest, where people are too polite to get openly confrontational. I recall from my time in the Virginia to Boston area, that people there tended to just be openly aggressive - as in shaking fists and threatening to kick your a** over the most minor public disagreement: like two people grabbing the last shopping cart at the same time. I'll take a few snooty, sarcastic comments over open warfare.0 -

- DW was seeing lights in her eye yesterday. Got a quick appt. at our eye doctor. Turns out it was an ocular migraine. Probably more brain related than the eyes. Fortunately there was no pain. Hopefully it won't come back.
- I hate real estate agents that don't listen. Sounds like you need an acre of property and a good builder.
- Yes, we need a Caribbean cruise recap.

Good Morning, the snow has stopped and the sun is shining. Yet it took 1.25 hours to get to the office this morning. All kinds of left over havoc on the roadways. Final totals at my house was 7.5 inches. Onward! 34 days til spring !!!
I show an ad for Chase Bank and Grainger (industrial supply chain) and outdoor motion lights at the bottom of the screen. LOL

Back to Urgent Care this morning, shot in each cheek, 3 prescriptions, seems am getting fluid build up in lungs; this doctor thinks it is cardio related, cardiologist says it is pulmonary related. I don't care, they need to get together and find a fix.

Most realtors want to push their listings where they get the most commission or will only show properties that are listed with higher % of commission; can't blame them but state laws need to change to take care of consumers. In GA even if one has a buyers agent the seller pays commission so naturally agent is looking for highest commission plus charging a buyers fee.
Most realtors will not show FSBO properties.
Do any of you remember when Men's Health board on WW only saw ads for large women's clothes? and women's swimsuits?
I've got truck ads from TX today.
