Any thoughts? I usually have a large breakfast but think appetite is increased as a consequence. I would be keen to hear your experiences although appreciate we are all different!

I eat breakfast one day a week because it's a family thing. The rest of the week I have coffee after I workout and eat the breakfast foods for lunch (usually).
Don't get me wrong, I love 'breakfast' foods (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc) - I just wish breakfast had the decency to come at a reasonable hour5 -
I don't eat breakfast. I love breakfast food for lunch or dinner, but at breakfast time it's just plain coffee for me.3

i think it is up to you. i have never been a breakfast/morning eater. while i will eat breakfast foods, i prefer them later in the day (just as @ccrdragon)1

I’m just wondering if breakfast makes you more hungry during the day?0

It depends on the person.
Many people find it does make them hungrier all day. Some don't.
For me, eating breakfast doesn't make me more hungry. I'm hungry the same amount later in the day regardless of whether I eat or not in the morning. Not eating breakfast, however, does make me a witch with a capital B.6 -
I don't do breakfast either. I never did eat soon after waking up and now I just stretch it a couple hours long.
To answer your question, yes, if I eat breakfast I tend to eat more all day. No idea why.0 -
Why is probably a mild version of reactive hypoglycemia. You eat, you produce slightly more insulin than you need (but not dangerously so), your blood sugar drops lower than your body would like, your body triggers hunger, you eat, etc.
Though keto is supposed to help treat that since it should reduce insulin response overall.2 -
When I eat a good breakfast of eggs and bacon or sausage I find I’m usually able to either skip lunch or have a snack type lunch. Then I’m not truly hungry until supper time.1

I typically don't eat breakfast, and lately I'm finding I don't even have my coffee until noon or later.1

For me it depends. Usually not. I'm a 2 meal a day kinda gal.
Tomorrow though, I am having breakfast during a morning out with my girls. It will still be about 3 hrs after I get up.0 -
I just follow a rule of eat when hungry. If it's 6am and the body says feed me then it gets food. If I'm not hungry it might be an 18 hour fast. Fuel as needed.6

I used to eat breakfast religiously but now i just have a large mug of tea with 1T cream. My first meal is lunch except on Sundays when we go out to breakfast at about 9am. But on Sundays I'm not usually hungry for and skip lunch.3

I intermittent fast a lot, which starts at 2000 the night prior and runs till at least noon, so I typically skip breakfast. I always have my bullet coffee though which satiates me for half the day.2

Likewise for some others, love the food especially a bacon mushroom cheese omelette with hollandasise , but most days IF till midafternoon0

So skipping breakfast is mainly because you’re not hungry in the morning rather than it have a suppressive effect1

This is me as well. Also, there are four other people in my household and one person works night shift and one typically doesn't arrive home till after 7 most evenings so I typically don't start preparing the evening meal until late afternoon to early evening depending on what I've got on the menu. It's seldom that we eat dinner before 8 most nights and sometimes it's even later.
If I have a two meal day I'll have something light mid afternoon and something in the evening but if I wake up and feel hungry then I'll on occasion have a breakfast. And sometimes if I'm up in the middle of the night and feel hungry I'll have a small snack of nuts/peanut butter, bacon, cheese, or whatever happens to sound good at the time. I don't really have a set pattern, just listen to my body more than anything.

I'll eat eggs with any meal. I don't always eat breakfast. I am not a morning eater. But, if I am hungry, I'll eat.1

I do IF so I don't usually eat until about 12 or later depending on my hunger level. I used to bring my breakfast and lunch with me to work but typically found myself bringing one of those meals home everyday, so now I just bring 1.2
