Dennis, we took your advice to Kelly yesterday and saw The Upside during date night. Great recommendation! It was very, very good. And someone had given me a gift card, so it was free, too. BONUS!
Mary, I did something similar with a couple once. We were in a store, and he was clearly berating her verbally and scaring her physically. They were young ... low 20's. He did NOT like me standing up for her or threatening to call the police. I prayed that I didn't make it worse for her later.

We're meeting up with friends in Kalamazoo today for dinner. I can't wait! Then tomorrow we apparently have a "storm" coming that's mostly high speed winds for an extended period of time. I've never heard of this around here. I'm curious to see if they're just over-dramatizing a windy day or if this is really going to be something substantial. They're saying 50-60 mph winds for 5+ hours straight, with possible trees and power lines down all over, leading to many power outages for several days possible.

Ended up celebrating National Margarita Day with neighbors last night. Had fun!

Lots to do today.....dropped off BB to get windows tinted. Hope it will be ready later today.

• Dave, it is difficult to be inspiring when you are tired.
• Lisa, glad you liked the movie. I read about your wind storm. The are calling it a 'bomb cyclone'. Batten down the hatches.
• Struggling with a purchase. Samsung is offering an awesome trade in allowance on the S9 for a new S10. There is nothing wrong with the old phone but... I'd ask Skip for his advice but I know what he would say.
• Raine, is a busy, busy lady these days. At least she's warm.
• Dropping in on Skip would be a good time for you and DS1 Lee. I hear he's a heck of a host.
• I have a busy day too. Better get going.

Ds1 is at U of Maryland today for Big 10 tip off at 1pm, if anyone wants tickets, I got a guy that can make that happen for you!

Good Afternoon,
DD & DGS invaded us yesterday; always glad to see but having a 3 y.o. and DD dose disrupt routine. Think they are going home in morning.
Believe I'm improving, DW still claims my breathing is to loud; if I leave hearing aid out I do not hear it.
DD did take DMIL to breakfast this morning then to Walmart, then DD called saying she could not find her; had been calling her cell phone and she was not answering. DW suggested having her paged problem is if she did not have hearing aid in would not hear. After third trip around store and 45 minutes DD finds DMIL in checkout line purchasing several bottles of liquor.
After getting home after Walmart DMIL calls DGD to tell her she is taking a bath in our upstairs bathroom and that DD needs to come and wash her back, think image no one should see.
DMIL comes out of bathroom with same clothes she has been wearing past 3 days, I would generally put on clean clothes after a bath.
3 y.o. supper hyper, see DMIL putting candy bars in his pocket several times a hour.
Dennis, go for it; need to enjoy life while we can.

Steph, I still get calls from couple we sold house to 14 years ago, I told them the house is 25 years old now expect things to start needing to be replaced.
DW carried a BoLo paddle in her purse when our kids were small, just seeing handle in her purse generally kept them in line; when DD was 2 or 3 she would do everything she was told NO on, would hold her hand in mine and slap back of hand she would start balling then grab oven door and start swinging again; timeout was time to play with light switches and electrical plugs. Still very headstrong after almost 40 years. DS did not care and would rather have a spanking than make him sit in lap look me in eye and have a talk. That said very proud of how kids turned out, even though they told us they would never raise their kids the way we did them; So far they are a 100% doing what they said they never would. Every child responds differently, saw jail full of youth that needed parental controls.
Expecting to see some sun this afternoon has not made appearance yet.
