    Mornin' BBB

    DMIL passed peacefully early this am. She had been unconscious for 48 hours. May she rest in peace.
    She was a grand ol' gal with lots of style. She was my only scotch buddy in the family and she may have been the last person who still drank Chivas Regal.

    I'm so sorry, Lee! I have you all in my prayers today. Thank goodness it was peaceful and you have beautiful, quirky memories to cherish.

    We had a great weekend! A good friend of mine gave us tickets to see Mama Mia at the Civic Theater in GR Friday night, so that was our date night. It was good! The music was amazing, and the acting was hilarious. Fun, colorful, and happy. Saturday we ran errands all morning, then I helped Jim set up his new office into the evening. Yesterday was food prep and church, and for once the music went off without a hitch in either sound or my keyboarding. Yay!

    I am totally behind on reading, so I apologize for being out of the loop.

    And she could make a mean beef stroganoff.

    Lisa, any actors of note in the production? I watched movie with DW. It was fun and scored me points.

    • Sorry for your and DWs loss Lee. She sounds like she was a quite a lady.
    • I had breakfast with the ROMEOs this morning. A great way to start the week.
    • I need to pack up the not so old Galaxy S9 and return it for the overly generous trade in allowance. It helps compensate for the ridiculous purchase price of the S10.
    • Hopefully Jack is no worse for the wear this morning.

    So sorry to hear Lee, sympathy extended to family.
    From stories she was as a great lady

    Bad about crack, 2 years ago when state put salt and gravel down for ice; broke one windshield then after replacement a few weeks latter broke again, replaced, then last summer another pebble flew up and chipped windshield again; hoping it does not spread.

    Sam I had a windshield glass chip repaired, they inject material into it, so it does not spread. I believe its a repair for chips the size of a nickel or smaller... Worked for me. I think the cost was $65 or so.

    Kindness sometimes works :smile: I reached out to the GM and he said "no problem, we got this!" Dropping off Black Beauty tonight (along with a nice Bottle of Virginia's finest in a nice leather carrier).
