Just Starting

I'm a type I diabetic, have been for 35 years. I also had weight loss surgery almost 7 years and have managed to gain about 20 pounds back. My diet the last two years has been dreadful. Tomorrow morning my 26 year old son and I are starting Whole 30. Any tips or do's or don't's would be greatly appreciated. I have googled, read about it for a while. Looking mostly to become healthier, get that A1C down, and just feel better all the way around.

I’m sure you will feel a difference right away, I definitely have more energy and so does my husband, who isn’t following the program, just eating the food I prepare 😉 I’ve been trying a lot of new recipes and doing a lot of food prep, but it’s been yummy!0
