Just finished his maximum weighloss book recently. I am a week into the actual diet. Loving it! Although I haven't lost any weight. I am eating 1200 or less of calories. Trying to be patient...0

I've been following the McDougall program for 10 days but got ready by reading his books, watching youtube presentations, his blogs for about a month prior to starting. I really like what I'm eating and am never hungry even though daily calories hover around 1,000. No animal products and eating organic fruits, veggies, legumes and grains keep the calorie counts low while I easily fill myself up on a lot of nutritious food.1
