Hi, i've been doing IF for exactly 2 weeks. I've lost about 3 pounds but more important than that, I've actually lost some fat-especially some belly fat that I didn't think was ever going to budge. I do 16/8 and my eating window is from 10am to 6pm. If anyone would like to add me as a friend that would be super helpful. It would be nice to have friends on here that are doing IF so that we can inspire and support each other. Thanks.

I'm in Week 4 of my 16:8 IF. I've been doing a TON of strength training and indoor climbing while IF'ing, so I haven't seen the scale budge much, but my body is definitely beginning to change, and my strength and energy are through the roof. I've promised myself not to weigh in or measure again until April 30.

Hi folks,
I'm happy to be an accountability partner - I find it easier to stick to a fast when you know you're not alone.
Most weeks I aim for Monday and Thursday unless work (I travel a bit) makes that too complicated.
On fast days I try not to eat through the day. I find it easier to wait and then have a reasonable dinner with my family. I drink plenty of water and also have tea and coffee. Of course sometimes it doesn't work like that 🙁.
I'm convinced of the health benefits of this and am really trying to stick to 2 FDs a week.

I am adding all three of you, if that's ok. I have been doing IF for 3 months and low carb as well. I am really enjoying it but the evenings are challenging at times, when my family is snacking during a movie or while playing games.0
