I have a question for the group concerning IF. If you consume the same amount of calories on a "normal" day as you do during a IF period... is there really any benefit to IF? Thank you in advance, Rich
Hello! I'm just starting out trying IF and I have questions about meds. I have a lot of meds. There are some that I am not sure wouldn't count as calories. I have to take them all and I can't fit them all in my fasting window. I'm curious how others have dealt with their meds and if anyone has seen any positive or negative…
i Everyone! I’m 63, currently at my highest weight (270) with increasing health issues. I have to change this NOW! I need my weight to be 190 lbs ASAP! I’ve heard some success stories about intermittent fasting and I’d like to join this group! I’.m planning on starting intermittent fasting January 2nd, 2023.
Hi! I’m Paula. I am 59 yo and before menopause had a pretty good weight control. I have been fasting (80% of the time) for over a year, but I can’t see actual results. What am I doing wrong?
I'm also new to IF. I started a little over a week ago. Down 7 1/2 lbs my first week. I'm on a 16:8 schedule although I often do 17:7. That's just the way it works out. I only have a few lbs to lose. I started out at 320 lbs and am now 160ish. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Middle aged woman, have gained about 10 kilos very slowly the last years, need to get back on track. My dietician has suggested I give 16:8 a try, since losing is going slowly and to be honest I was…
Hi all! I am 66 and giving IF a try for the 2nd time. I have about 15 lbs left to lose and I know this will get me there and with fingers crossed become my new WOL.
I've just started intermittent fasting a month ago. This is all new to me and I'm sure I'm gonna have lots of question. I thought this would be a great group to learn from.
I know it’s probably just water retention weight loss but I’ll take it since I wasn’t budging at 170 lbs. Now I’m 163 lbs, can’t be happier. I don’t have excruciating hunger pain anymore. I just drink a cup of coffee when I get the sensation of hunger around 12:30pm which is when I used to have my lunch. But I’m having my…
I work out at 5am M-F. What's everyone thought on having my eating time from 11-7. I'm afraid I would be hungry or have no energy for my workout. Any advice would be appreciated.
